<span style="background-color: #f2f3f5; color: #1c1e21; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Offering another healing meditation and attunement from the Tanran Reiki tradition that I am the vision holder of. I am being guided to share this symbol more openly so that those who feel inspired to and called to join purpose with this healing stream of energy can join, and as we give so we receive. If we become like pipes that pour water into a desert, then we are never dry, and if the ocean wishes to flood the desert with waters of renewal, then it will happily and willingly pour water through us, who have made ourselves available to this current.<span style="background-color: #f2f3f5; color: #1c1e21; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"> <span dir="ltr" style="background-color: #f2f3f5; color: #1c1e21; font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">Note2:

Right as you are reading these words, if you so choose, feel that you are visualizing the Tanran Reiki symbol six inches above the soft spot at the top of your head, and then feel the symbol sink down into the center of your chest, where the thymus gland is, and rest there. Ask the Reiki Guides to bless and energize this symbol for your use. Feel the promise that these guides will gently work through you using the symbol as an anchor into our world and your own personal world.
If you feel inspired to, you can ask the Reiki Guides to make this implanting of the symbol permanent, and then it will be an attunement ritual for you. This is not required, if you only want to make this a meditation, then you are welcome to just experience the energies flowing through you, healing you gently, and then pouring out into our world.

If you choose to make this permanent, then you will feel your energy body and your physical body going through changes, restructuring itself and rewiring itself, so that it will be able to conduct more energy through you. The energy of Universal Unconditional Love, with its deep Primal Wish to heal all sentient beings immediately and instantly to the degree that all freely allow this process to happen and to the speed that each person is comfortable with, will gently upgrade your energy system in stages, to the degree that you openly, willingly, and peacefully allow.

The training that is given with the attunements is about how to cooperate with an energy that wishes to deeply cooperate with you, for the healing of your life, your relationships, and your world. This Primal Energy did birth the cosmos and regulates it as best it can, given its allowance of free will sentient beings to do whatever they wish. It was created in deep trust that every sentient being would create a line of experiences and lessons for he or she to go through, learn from them, and then evolve into loving, wise, and creative beings, cosmic adults, fully enlightened and with a fully activated body of light. Note3:

After the Tanran Symbol is implanted in the Heart Region of your chest, then visualizing the Double Star Tetrahedron version of Dai Ko Myo floating six inches above the soft spot at the top of the head. Feeling the "Great Energy Light" of Universal Unconditional Love resting there, floating above you, about 9 inches in diameter. Asking the Reiki Guides to bless and energize this symbol, and to allow this symbol to serve as a conduit of energy for you. Because these beings, the Reiki Guides, are light beings who have long ago completed their evolution into light body, they are beings of great compassion, great empathy, and infinite creative energy. They will always respond to a sincere call for help and immediately connect with you.

It is highly likely that you will feel tingling sensations in your body as a sign of their pouring Universal Unconditionally Loving Energy into you, through the channels that are opening up. Or you may feel warm currents of energy start to fill you and flow inside of you. Or you may feel as if the room that you are in has brightened with energy a little. Or you may just feel a little more peaceful and calm. Or you may just not feel anything definite enough to be easily noticed. The energy cannot force you to feel anything and does not try to prove itself to anyone, it simply acts. If you remain in trust of this process and choose to keep opening up, you will feel more and more. Our own ability to feel will be healed in this process. Our heart will wake up to this energy in stages that are right for each of us. If it were faster and more miraculous, then it might make some people freak out, like the prophets mentioned mentioned in the Torah and other writings, where humans, encountering angelic beings of light, sometimes fall down on their faces, or suddenly feel very impure, as everything unloving is illuminated and cleansed from us.

To the degree that you are able to, just trust and allow this process to happen. I am "bridging" their energy, adding these words to what they are wishing to do, like an ambassador who is mediating a relationship so that everything works well, and being a bridge because I am part of both their world and ours.Note4:

As you inhale deeply, feel you are drawing the energy into the soft spot at the top of head, visualizing and feeling a beam of light pouring down into the soft spot and flowing into the brain, relaxing, energizing, and healing the brain, then pouring down into the throat, relaxing, energizing, and healing the throat, and then into the heart region, relaxing, energizing, and healing the heart, and then flowing out into the world, relaxing, healing, and energizing the world.

The Master Jesus once said, "Let your light shine before sentient beings that they may experience this wholesome action, and feel the energy of glory, radiance, and wonder fill them, so that they may join in this sacred energy and feel thankful to the Source of All Life. (I am translating this verse a little differently than usual, to highlight certain meanings that are not always clear, as in Hebrew, the word "glory" is the radiance of light energy that accompanies a divine display in our world, when we "glorify g-d", it means that this radiance fills us and overflows back to Source as gratitude, "wholesome action" is a Buddhist way of naming "good works")."

Note5:

You can deepen your involvement in this energy flow by stretching your arms to the sides as wide open as you can, then inhaling upwards into palms together above the head, then bringing the palm together hands down the middle to the heart region, while intoning the "Ah" sound, and then opening the arms wide, visualizing and feeling yourself releasing the energy that descended into the heart outward in all directions, unconditionally, and without reservation, and then inhaling with hands moving upwards again.

You are visualizing the energy flow down from Dai Ko Myo into your Tanran Symbol in your heart region, and then radiating outwards into our world.

The spine is the "axis of eternity" and the arms moving outwards is the "axis of time". We draw energy from the eternity of love into the dramas of space, time, and form. We loving accept what is happening in our world and radiate healing energy into this world that so much needs this love. We trust love to heal all this that we see. We have learned, too, that only love heals, that political power struggle is a tug of war that gets nowhere, that military violence only creates more wounds to heal, that intense arguments are a kind of mental brutality that is worth ending as soon as possible, and, as we disengage from these chain reactions of suffering, with everyone reacting to everyone, and everyone reacting to reactions of reactions, we become as pillars conducting energy from the axis of eternity into the axis of time.

Note6:

This is attunement embodies the inner activity hidden within the first sermon of the Buddha, when he started turning the "great wheel of the Dharma" in our world and said:

"Hatred never ended hatred,
Only love ends hatred,
this is the Dharma,
ancient and inexaustible."

This is also at the heart of the Sermon on the Mount of the Master Jesus when he said these words:

"Do not condemn, Love your enemies, Bless those who curse you, Pray for those who persecute you, Walk the second mile, Give more than is asked for, Forgive everyone because they are in unconscious ignorance (of their own true nature which is love itself), let your light (of unconditional love) upon everyone you meet, each and every day of your life, that you may becomes sons and daughters of your Cosmic Parent and awaken to this divine nature as your primal identity. (Again, I am translating a little differently to highlight some hidden meanings within the verses)."

Note7:

If you are ready, then ask your own subconscious mind-heart to sustain this attunement and activity within you, with these words:

"May this attunement and meditation, may the flow that has been activated in me, become a habit of loving in my life."

So shall it be. Namaste. The attunement and meditation is complete.

<span style="font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">Note8:

<span style="font-family: "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">I would like for you to feel these thoughts and see what they could mean for you:
<br style="content: "";
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">1. I would like for all of you to lie down. I would like for you to scan your body and let your spine feel like it is straight or as straight as it can be without trying to force this. Have your palms face upward and your feet pointing outward. And then to focus on breathing. Expanding the belly with each inhale and relaxing the belly with each exhale. As you are doing this, to gently scan the body for any tension and invite it to let go. There is not need to try to let go, just to invite the body to relax and to trust the body to let go in its own and in its own way. Continuing to breath this way for about 20 breaths.

2. Next I would like to focus on your heartbeat and to feel the exact place where the heart beat is being made. And to visualize and feel that there is a radiant point of light at this place. And I would like for you to feel yourself as this point of light. And to feel this place as the throne of the heart, where you are spiritual self is resting upon.

3. And then to softly repeat these thought intention affirmations, without trying to believe or disbelieve them, but to just feel what they could mean for you:

I am a radiant point of light in an ocean of love.

I am a radiant point of light in an ocean of love.

I am a radiant point of light in an ocean of love.

I am a radiant point of love in an ocean of light.

I am a radiant point of love in an ocean of light.

I am a radiant point of love in an ocean of light.

4. I would like for you to gather the felt sense of these thought intention affirmation and to just feel their meaning and feel yourself as this point of light and love.

5. And if you find some voice inside yourself, telling you that you are not loving or not luminous, notice this voice, thank it for sharing its opinion, and then sharing back to this voice, saying, "Thank you for sharing, here and now, I am choosing to feel myself within the light and love, the ocean of consciousness, that gave birth to me, and to feel myself, once again, as part of this ocean. I have nothing to lose by feeling myself this way again. And if I have been unloving in the past, in my body, in my actions the world, it is because I have forgotten my noble birth in this ocean of light and love. And I am choosing to return to this feeling again and feel at home this ocean of light and love."

6. I would like for you now to feel that light and love that surrounds you and welcomes you home, and to rest in this place. And noticing your exhale, getting softer and softer, as you relax back into your home.

7. Then I would like for you to move your radiant, that you are, into the central channel of the spine, and moving your radiant by gently conscious thought intention, simply and gently willing this point to move there.

8. Once you have done this, then gently intend to move out the crown chakra, the soft spot at the top of the head, and feel that you moving into this ocean of light and love, and feeling this place without any hindrance from the body.

9. Then I would like to go 6 feet above your body and look down upon it. And would like for to feel what is called "dual consciousness". You can feel yourself inside your body, hearing these words, and you can feel outside your body, looking at your body.

10. I would like for you to shuttle back and forth, between "body consciousness" and being this radiant point of light. Moving gently back and forth, with no hurry, feeling your mobility of consciousness moving between different perspectives, and even able to do be in both at the same time.

11. Next I would like for you to lift even higher above your body, moving through the ceiling and even the roof, seeing the roof from above, seeing the roof shrink smaller and smaller as you go higher, noticing even the cities and towns looking smaller and smaller, as you to outer space, seeing the Earth from the perspective of an astronaut.

12. Next to turn the attention of the radiant point that you are away from the Earth and towards outer space, and then to hold the thought intention, "I wish to go to the Cosmic Cathedral", and to entrust this thought intention into the Ocean of light and love that you always live in, and to trust this Ocean to bring to this Cathedral.

13. You are noticing the stars moving rapidly on either side of you as you move past them in what Star Trek called "warp drive", moving faster than the speed of light, moving by conscious thought intention and universal love.

14. You notice an asteroid with a Cathedral on top of it. The Cathedral is silvery blue in radiance, almost bright white, but with a silvery blue tint.

15. By conscious thought intention, you move to the very big doors of the front entrance of the Temple. And again, by conscious thought intention, you gently intend for the doors to open, you trust the Ocean of light and love to open it for you, and feel them open. These doors do not open in any other way. It is our natural relationship with this living Ocean of light and love to gives what we wish, when we have become love and light again.

16. Inside the Cathedral are statues of all the enlightened of the past, carved into the walls and into the ceiling domes. You are noticing and feeling their vibration.

17. I would like for you to choose one these statues and to move towards it. Notice how this statue looks and feel the energies of the being radiating through the statue, and then gently ask the being to come forward and meet you. Feel the statue come to life to meet you. Ask the being for his or her name, and notice what kind of answer you get. Sometimes the name is not in words. It can be in a picture or even a feeling or even a facial expression. Whatever you get will enough. Some beings, too, have not felt the need to have a name.
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">

18. I would like for to ask the being when did it become enlightened, what did learn to become enlightened. And again, notice the answer you get. It may be in words or pictures or a deep feeling. And when you have gotten, thank the being for the answer.

19. And then ask the being for any teaching that might help you, and, again, notice the answer you get, and then thank the being for this.

20. I would like for you now to gently say, "Good bye," to this being, and to bow with folded hands, emanating this gesture out of your radiant point, and taking on the form of the light body, that looks your physical, only more radiant and renewed.

21. And to move into the second chamber, where there statues of all the enlightened beings who are waking up now. And gently bow to these beings and wish them well in their awakening process, as you move to the third chamber of the Cathedral, and notice all the sentient beings that will become will in the future, moving through the door through gently conscious thought intention.

22. In this chamber, I would like for you to find the statue of yourself and notice how you look when you are enlightened. And then ask the being, who is your future self, to come forward and meet you, seeing the statue come to life in front of you.

23. And then to ask this being when and how he or she became enlightened, and what was learned that allowed the shift to happen, and then open, listen, and feel the answer you get. And again, it could be in words, a feeling, or a picture.

24. When you get the answer, bow down in gratitude and thank your future self for what you received.

25. Then I would like for you to feel yourself merge with your future self, so that your present self and future self become a living unity, feeling the two merge together and become one light body. Notice how this feels and continue to breathe.
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">

<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: large;">

26. Then with this unity going through the door to the fourth and last chamber of the Cathedral, opening the door once again through gentle conscious thought intention.

27. You see the Reiki Guides sitting in their council seats, lifted a little above you as you stand in front of them. You feel them sending love to you and welcoming you.

28. One of them comes down from the council seats and offers himself or herself to be your personal Reiki Guide and sponsor, to help you through your human journey, when you are back on Earth.

29. This being comes forward and bows in front of you, and says, "It is my intention to give you a Reiki attunement. Do you wish to receive it?"

30. Connecting with your inner freedom and feeling no pressure at all to do anything, you spontaneously and fearlessly say, "Yes."

31. The Guide then, while focusing the energy that all the Guides are sending to you, visualizes the symbols in radiant colors, and sends each one of them into your Crown Chakra of your light body, and then moves telepathically and telekinetically to the right place in your chakras.

32. The Guides are chanting each symbol as your personal Guide implants them.

33. They are chanting "Raku", and placing the symbol at the sacrum.

34. Then they are chanting "Sei He Ki", and placing the symbol at the belly.

35. Then they are chanting "Cho Ku Rei", and placing the symbol at the solar plexus.

36. Then they are chanting "Tanran", and placing the symbol at the heart.

37. Then they are chanting "Zee Gah Nah", and placing the symbol at the throat.

38. Then they are chanting "Hon Sha Zen Sho Nen", and placing the symbol at the 3rd eye.

39. Then they are chanting "Dai Ko Myo", and placing the symbol above the soft spot on top of the head, the Crown Chakra.
Then they are visualizing and manifesting a white light bubble of protection for you, affirming that, "Nothing but love can enter this bubble," and then imprinting the bubble with "Doh Ya Noh" to seal its energy and to give extra protection.

41. Then the Reiki Guides bless and energize all the symbols, pouring energy into each of them and all of them.

42. The personal Reiki Guide then bows and says, "It is complete."

43. The Guides come down from their council seats and welcome you, and then point to another door. This one is opened by them, and goes back outer space.

44. You form the conscious thought intention to return to Earth and to your body on Earth.

45. You move through door and go into warp drive, seeing the star flow by you again.

46. You see the Earth getting closer and bigger.

47. You see the cities and towns nearby.

48. You see the roof of the building you were in.

49. You enter the room where your body is.

50. You enter the Crown Chakra.

51. You go down the spine and into the place where the heart beat is, and realign your energies with your body, noticing what happens when you bring the energy back with you and gift it to your body.

52. Counting from 10, returning back to regular body consciousness. 10, 9, 8, feeling your hands and feet, 7, 6, 5, feeling your breathing, 4, 3, 2, and 1, opening your eyes.

53. End of transmission and initiation. Namaste.
This is the new Dai Ko Myo that expresses the 2012 solstice alignment and has integrated the energy into a unified whole. The six spirals emanate from the center world (Ekadana) through the three Sirian stars and through our three Suns (Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn) to us. This is the ray of creation, maintenance, and manifestation. It embodies the hexagon pattern that appeared on Saturn and the three radiant colors of the auroras.Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-91203549800658264312013-12-11T17:23:00.001-08:002013-12-11T17:23:08.657-08:00Tez Reh OhTez Reh Oh is the symbol for healing family systems, doing constellation work, and healing the genetic code for karma imprints.
The above picture is the 12/21/2012 Dai Ko Myo. It is already activating itself as a "connection symbol" for the Reiki energy (the universal loving energy that pervades all of life). What I saw was that the three spheres which represent the three main divine qualities of love, creativity, and wisdom also symbolize Sirius A, B, and C, the three stars of the Sirian star system. Sirius is a juncture star system that our sun is orbiting and both the sun and Sirius are orbiting the galactic center Ekadana. The spiral of Dai Ko Myo becomes the spiral of this galaxy and symbolizes creative unfoldment. The crescent becomes the crescent moon which represents a holding, supportive, and grounding energy. The Moon in this case focuses the alignment of these worlds like a lens towards the Earth. Ekadana is represented here by the Magenta sphere and the spiraling luminous nebular cloud in the background. Sirius A, B, and C by the silvery blue color of their stage of solar evolution. The yellow sun of our world is in radiant yellow, with the Moon as a black sphere with a crescent.

The next pictue is the usual Dai Ko Myo. What may not be clear from this picture is that there are two concentric circles in the middle of the "triangle", one yellow and one magenta. This triangle moves down during the 2012 winter solstice to form the alignment above. Magenta is the color of the "upper aurora" as the Sun sings to the Earth its evolutionary attunement song. The "lower aurora" is green and forms a kind of harmonic fifth with this energy which is the energy of biological life. Magenta and Green are the two main healing colors in the Dinshah color healing system. I do not feel it is an accident that these are the two main aurora colors (ionized nitrogen and ionized oxygen).

This symbol is simpler than the more visionary dream time drawings of how the symbols are usually perceived in dream or vision space. This one gives a better idea of how to draw the 2012 Dai Ko Myo. What I got from this creation is that the Earth is implied within this, being between the Sun and the Moon.

What the Reiki Guides are sharing is that this symbol is now active for all to use. The other Dai Ko Myo symbols will also work, since intention, use, and permission are what is needed for any of the symbols to work. But there is a special gift, too, in aligning with this symbol and one might feel when using it. Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-38907082329332499722012-02-27T14:08:00.003-08:002015-02-09T15:59:19.602-08:00Toh Tan Nen
The above symbol is Toh Tan Nen. It is part of the level four attunement called "The Long Life Empowerment". This symbol is an overlay to Cho Ku Rei, to energize it to another level of functioning. It is called "the economic healing symbol" and has been drawn on a napkin more than any other Tanran Reiki symbol. The joke that goes with the symbol is that it is the one symbol you get for free so that you can afford the other ones. It is about re-aligning with Divine Grace within the field of economics. It is visualized in the solar plexus chakra (asking the Reiki Guides to bless and energize this symbol). With all the economic shifts that our culture is going through, it felt important to post this as a help to what is arising on this planet. The symbol embodies the teachings of many of the enlightened beings who have walked this world.

The energy spiral on the left is named "humbly accepting where you are". You do not fight your circumstances. You do not judge them bad and strive to be "successful". You give up the status trip and the attempt to boost self esteem through becoming wealthy, successful, and part of the elite. You embrace what you have already been given, what you already have, and notice the abundance that is already here. Through this attitude, you relax into the present moment and open up to what is there. There was a mystic named Thomas Traherne (I think that is how his last name was written) who marvelled that his tiny eyes somehow held the mountains, the sky, and the oceans in its sight and was in some sense wealthy because of this and many other things.

The upper energy spiral is "one step at a time". We are given intuitive guidance step by step, day by day, and this leads to what is needed. We do not get the master blueprint in one dose. When sometimes we do, we just get overwhelmed and think that we cannot do it. When it is given step by step, we can grow into those bigger creative spaces. There is a Zen story of an inch worm that is crawling up a tree and a bird comes down, laughs at the worm, and says, "There is no fruit up there for you to eat." The inch worm says back, "There will be when I get there."

The right energy spiral is "do what you love". We are not merely given step by step instructions, but we are given the love of what we are meant to do. It is such a natural and quiet thing that we often do not notice it. We naturally do this when we have "free time", even if it looks like "day dreaming". It is often judged as foolish and impractical. But it is something within us that is expressing itself and growing through our love of doing it. It will serve others.

The circle is consecrated space where income and outgo are balanced. It is about not getting into debt, not "financing" anything, but paying as we go, trusting that the money will come as we need it. If one is already in debt, then the debt is accepted and trusted that it will gently dissolve. But meanwhile no further debt is meant to be incurred. The second ring is protecting against scams. Money is meant to have an exchange of products and services that enhance our lives. Scams are about money coming through zero sum games, through causing someone to lose something that we might gain something. Lots of investment schemes are scams. The protective bubble is about protecting the money gained from scams, from theft, and from wasting it on impulse buying that really comes from addiction.

The big triangle pointed up is the intention to serve the Divine Purpose on Earth, to serve survival, healing, growth, evolution, thriving, and celebration. You serve the world in love and trust that your needs are met. It is surrender into spirit, making this more important than anything economic. Money never has its proper place without this intention being there. Otherwise it becomes a focus of self clinging and greed, competition and struggle, and becomes a merciless master. The small triangle pointed downwards is "doing daily chores". These little tasks connect our daily life with the larger purpose. It is like the steering wheel on the spaceship.

There is a hidden fourth energy spiral when the symbol goes 3D (when the triangle becomes tetrahedron). This fourth energy spiral is sharing abundance. This is an implicit message that everyone has an abundance to share from, even if it is giving time, curiosity, listening, and compassion. The sharing of abundance circulates energy through a society and becomes a form of social health. It sets in motion good karma causes and return back multiplied. It generates a synergy since the people we share with can also share and thus a good karma ripple goes through our world and upgrades everyone.Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-61568868126540881372012-01-15T15:12:00.000-08:002012-01-15T15:38:51.919-08:00Chodapa
Reiki Chod Rite:
Feeding Your Demons
(Tenabah c2012)

On February 12th, from 10am to 4pm, I am going to be holding space for the Tanran Reiki version of the Chod Rite. This particular Rite was gifted to the Earth roughly 1,000 years old when White Tara incarnated in Tibet as Lady Machig Labron. My feeling is that she also incarnated as the Cowgirl Sujata and was with Guatama Buddha, nursing him back to health and engaging in subtle dharma talks, and even initiating him into five Tantric energy rituals to help his meditation process, as he was moving to supreme perfect enlightenment during his 24/40 meditation intensive. She also appeared to Nagarjuna and taught the sublime teachings of emptiness, intuitive wisdom, and compassion which became the basis of the entire Mahayana Buddhist revolution. During her third turning of the wheel of the Dharma, she came down and taught the Chod Rite. This teaching transmission became the basis for every single meditation method that Vajrayana Buddhism was going to use to enlighten people.

During the time of Guatama Buddha, the hinayana dharma was established, based on mindfulness of breathing, analyzing the 12 phase nidanic chain reaction which sustains sorrow and then choosing to end sorrow by remaining alert and aware, without adding any thought story, to the sensation of sorrow, and following the wise precepts that prevent us from creating any more sorrow. During the time of the Mahayana revolution, this earlier teaching was directly and intuitively realized in immediate experience, seeing not only the emptiness of the personality self but also the emptiness of all material phenomena. This deeper realization was behind the ideal of the bodhisattva and dakini, male and female semi-liberated beings who decide to stay in the world to serve the ending of all sorrow in the world and to create a pure land of bliss on Earth. These beings have "nirvana with residue". They have the deep knowing of their own buddha nature from direct experience and are abiding within this knowing as they move through their experience, but they have not yet emptied their subconscious mind of all the traces of sorrow.

When White Tara incarnates in this world as Machig Labron, she gives to the Earth the sacred Chod Rite. In its Tibetan form, it has a shamanic flavor, of going to a cemetry, charnal ground, or place of cremation, beating a drum, and verbally outloud calling to the demons of this place and offering his or her body to be eaten by the demons. This ritual may seem strange to our ears, since we are not a shamanic culture. But the essence of this dharma transmission is to surrender into our fears in order to immediately end them. The psychological wisdom is that behind our fear is resistance to what is feared. Our mind tries to solve our fears and secure our existence, driven by a subtle self clinging that is behind all our sorrows. Our minds can run a thousand thoughts and wear itself out by thinking thinking thinking, rather than "face our fears" and "go through our fears". The Chod Rite is about ending the grip of fear, once and for all, by going even one step further than "facing our fears". We conjure our fears and actually feed them further. By doing so, we end our fears at the deepest root, at the core of our self clinging to an ego identity that we have always been attached to and which has always been an illusion or mental construction.

The Chod Rite is a "path of accelerated transformation". It is indeed the highest, fastest, and deepest path that Tibetan Buddhism has taught, with the possible exception of the Dzogchen path of directly and immediately resuming your enlightened nature through "pointing out instructions". Even so, many who have done Dzogchen and who have mastered the dialectical philosophies of emptiness eventually do this Chod Rite to cleanse their subconscious minds of all traces of fear. By combining Dzogchen, Tonglen, and Chod together you have a powerful vehicle of spiritual growth.

The Chod Rite is also echoed in some of the terse sayings of Jesus when he teaches us to "love our enemies", "pray for those who persecute us", "bless those who curse us", "turn the other cheek", and "resist not evil". Jesus also showed the Chod Rite by accepting crucifixion and by "being obedient even on to death".

The Chod Rite is an advanced meditation process. There is a reason why White Tara waited about 1500 years to prepare humans to receive this teaching. Hinayana Buddhism makes more sense to us. The logic of our ego state is that we should resist what we label as evil and fear it, or at least run away as fast as we can or to prevent it from happening. The idea of ending fear by surrendering to fear does not make sense to us at all. It takes a deep meditator to understand how resisting what we fear keeps our fear going and keeps our mind concentrated on manifesting our fears in our life, replaying our karma patterns over and over again for lifetime after lifetime. We do not understand how fear is a form of faith in something manifesting that we do not want to manifest. We do not notice how deeply our mind concentrates on what it fears and how this concentration magnetizes the event towards us, or how the more we think about something the more energy we give it. When we surrender into our fear, then the fear collapses. As long as we try to solve fear, we sustain it.

Many people are starting to notice how their minds wrap around a fear, make it an obsession, and give it life. But even noticing this they do not know how to get out of the repeating energy loop. If you try to get out of the fear, then it is still fear and it is still resistance. Krishnamurti called it "fear running away from itself" and teaches how fear always does this. One time someone said to K, "It seems, from your view, my mind is nothing but a system of escapes," to which K replied, "Is this not a tremendous realization to come to!".

The problem is that we do not realize how our mental effort to solve fear is "fear analyzing fear" and thereby sustaining fear. Even to ask, "How do I stop fear?" is part of this effort. Even signing up for Chod to try to end fear is part of this, though Chod can aikido our ego motivation and use it to help us end fear.

The Chod Rite has been taught in one form by Lama Allione who has given some talks about her own experience with the practice. She used it to go through a custody battle with her ex-husband. She conjured her ex as the demon and feed the demon by giving him what he wanted, the custody of the child they birthed together and raised together. After she completed the rite, she gets a call from her ex saying that she can have custody of the child and that he was only manifesting his fear that he would never see the child again. He had surrendered into his fear at the same time, even though he did not do the Chod Rite consciously. We are interconnected on a deep level and do not realize what we are doing to sustain our karmas on this level. The Buddha one time taught that "karma is in the interdependence", the places that we interact with each other. We form energy loops and feed them with our activity. We are more telepathically linked with each other than we realize and our constantly feeding those interactions with our cravings (agendas), our negativities (resistances), and our delusions (projections). When our dysfunctional energy system collapses, then the energy loop collapses and something new can take its place, what replaces the three poisons of the mind are the three qualities of the heart, love, creativity, and wisdom. Conscious love evokes the same in return.

The Tanran Reiki version of the Chod Rite differs some from the Tibetan Buddhist form. One is that it starts with the invocation of the Reiki Guides, is done within a communal container, and within sacred space. It is easier to surrender into our fears when we are in a supportive community. The space holder can keep the process on track. It is easy for the the solo ego to get caught in a reactive energy loop and stay lost in reactive land, playing all the nearly endless thought dramas of anticipation and resistance, or actually wrestle with the demon until worn out, or feel paralyzed and "try to surrender" in such a way that the stuckness stays in place. The space holder can help walk a person through the process step by step until the fear is completely cut through. When under the grip of fear, the logic of the ego state tends to rule us. The logic of emptiness, which seems paradoxical to the ego, is hard to figure out and apply when we are very reactive. It is a blessing for someone to keep the process simple so that we can stay focused and move through what needs to be moved through. When in the corridor of fear, our intelligence gets very dumb and survival oriented. Even if the logic of emptiness made sense in the comfort of our intellectual studies, it seems to go out the window when we are afraid. We unwittingly conjure the illusion of a solid self that exists from its own side and self cling to this illusion, and start to spin a thousand fearful thoughts around it. A far deeper understanding of emptiness is needed to cut through fear completely. It must not be merely intellectual, it must be psychologically realized in the depths of our subconscious minds. By invoking a connection with the Reiki Guides, their own deep understanding can be felt in the space as a wisdom energy. They can understand for us and with us until our own understanding is perfected and stabilized.

The other thing that can be watched over is that there is a smart way of doing Chod and a stupid and risky way of doing Chod. It is an advanced practice. A meditation newbie does not want to rush out and try it solo. It would be like a women running naked through a gang of unrepentant rapists in the middle of the night (and the Chod Rite would even be taking time to seduce the gang). Fear can take a lot of forms and sometimes our fears have some wisdom as to why they are there. It takes some time before we want to resolve things at their very core and finish with them. It takes some time before we have enough confidence in universal law, understand that no event happens by accident, that every bad event has a karmaic history behind it, and to own our part in why everything happened to us. Curiously, the Chod masters of Tibet are the ones who go into plague areas to help people and do not die of the diseases that kill most others. Not unconsciously and fearfully resisting the diseases, they do not get caught in those diseases. It is why Yeshe Tsogyal was able to convert a gang of rapists to the Dharma using Tantric sexual union with each one of them (again, this is something to not rush to do until you are more masterful with your energies). A space holder can watch over the process so that the process stays a smart one. You first do Chod through a series of visualizations, then you do Chod in events that naturally arise in your life without seeking them out, and then, if you are clearly guided from within, you do Chod in events that you willingly go into.Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-62420598512705908712011-08-06T12:39:00.000-07:002011-08-07T21:09:59.590-07:00Level One Attunement: Dai Ko Myo Empowerment

It is my intention, here and now, through these words, through this invocation, through this blog, to give anyone who is reading these words and who wants to receive, a Tanran Reiki level one attunement. This remote energy attunement has the intention of activating your connection with an unconditionally loving, intuitively wise, and infinitely creative energy field so that you may feel this energy within your mind, heart, and body. This remote energy attunement is only remote relative to where my physical location and physical presence within a human body is compared to where your physical location and physical presence within a human body is. On the level of telepathic thought and my subtle energy body, you are never far away. I and others of my kind can reach you, link with you, and initiate you into the realm that we abide in. This realm is more real to us than the entire physical universe. From our viewpoint, we abide first and foremost within this luminous omnipresent loving, wise, and creative energy field, and the physical realm is combined effect of past causes set into motion and the creative activity of this field.

While I abide as a physical presence on Earth, in your world, I am a representative of the Mahasangha, the greater community of the living beings of light that inhabit this realm. The Tanran Reiki community is an energy healing tradition that initiates people into this living community through a series of meditations, rituals, teachings, intentions, and thoughts. We are joined to each other within the energy of this love, wisdom, and creativity. We choose to live in this energy, walk in its light, and radiate this energy to all others. We let ourselves be transformed into the likeness of this energy until every thought, emotion, intention, sensation, and attention that we give is resonance with the frequency of unconditional love. We allow ourselves to be purified until this is completely true.

It is my deep honor and privilege to be able to offer this initiation, attunement, and empowerment to you. Even though Tanran Reiki has 38 symbols and therefore 38 specific attunements, and more that could emerge from the field of infinite light when and if needed, it may be possible that this one may be all that you need. Once linked to Dai Ko Myo, the Great Light, that permeates and pervades all existence everywhere and everywhen, you will be linked to the teacher of all my teachers and will be able to learn everything that I have learned and more, to the degree that you are willing, able, and ready to receive.

This energy is unconditionally loving and completely nonviolent. It does love you without conditions and only wishes blessing, healing, empowerment, life, abundance, and complete liberation for you. It does not condemn anyone for anything. It notices every fault that we may be holding in our field and can look at that fault with complete objectivity and without any resentment or demand that the fault change in any way. All our faults can only change when we simply acknowledge them and release them, letting the light transform them and release them within its blessing.

The freedom and free choice of all sentient beings is sacred to this energy. This universal loving field has the creative power to remanifest and recreate the entire physical universe from its own Luminous Omnipresent Vacuum Energy, from itself, but it is completely nonviolent and can only change the life of each sentient being as he or she willingly allows himself or herself to change. This means that we are meant to let go, allow, and not resist the flow of this energy within us. We are meant to say to this energy, "Your wish be done within me. I allow myself to be healed. I allow myself to be transformed into love itself. I let my ego personality be totally dissolved within the radiance of this energy. I am willing to let my addictive craving, judgmental negativities, and obscuring delusions all dissolve away, and let myself be healed of all the illnesses that depend on these adverse conditions abiding within me."

Here and now, I am offering an attunement, activation, and link with this Universal Loving Energy, and ask you if you wish to receive it. There is no pressure for you to do this. There is no condemnation of you if you do not wish to do this. This attunement is not the only true spiritual path, but simply one path. It will not invalidate the spiritual path and commitment that you have made to another spiritual path. It will bless and support the spiritual path that you are on, provided that your spiritual path is based on unconditional love and believes in unconditional love. If it does not, the energy may wish to purify the judgments from your spiritual path to elevate into its own frequency and purity. It is not necessary to let go of all the judgments, attachments, and obscurations right now. The energy will flow into our lives and gently expand to touch them and invite us to release them. We will learn what we need to let go of in our experience and grow from within our experience.

If you are not ready to make the decision to accept the attunement, you may stop here. What follows assumes that you have made this decision. You can go forward and read these words, if you are just curious, but they will not work the same way as when you make the intention to enter through the gate of initiation. The words are only tools that help the specific activation of a specific experience within you. Because of the nonviolence of unconditional love, you cannot get the experience until you decide to let it in and only to the degree that you willingly let it in.

You who have decided to open to the energy of Universal Unconditional Love. I would like for you to imagine and feel that the space that you are in right now is filled with the energy of love, wisdom, and creativity. I would like for you to visualize this energy is white light. Imagine and feel that this energy pervades the entire universe, that stars and planets emerge from this energy, abide in this energy, and may eventually dissolve back into this energy. Because this energy is sentient, intelligent, compassionate, and responsive, you can, by conscious thought intention, make a connection with this energy. I would like for you to breathe this energy into your mind, heart, and body. I would like for you to attach the thought intention of receiving this energy to your inhale. I would like for you to feel that the more deeply and fully you breathe in, without straining, the more deeply and fully you receive this energy. You can do this as you are reading these words. You want to breathe in as deeply as you can, but not breathe in so much that you feel that you are straining to push in more air. Thought intention and fully receiving is enough.

Please also, for now, do not worry if you are actually getting this energy or actually feeling this energy. It will happen naturally as you relax and allow. We are not trying to make an experience happen, we are allowing an energy to happen. There is no need to strain. It will happen naturally as the initiation process unfolds.

I would like for you to attach the thought intention of relaxing, letting go, and allowing to the exhale. Feel that the more softly, slowly, and smoothly you exhale, the more you are relaxing and allowing the energy of universal love to flow into your mind, heart, and body. Again, there is no need to strain. If your breathing is not very slow, let the intention gently make the breathing slower and slower until it does feel soft, slow, and smooth.

I would like for you to place your attention on the belly and feel the belly expand on the inhale and relax on the exhale. I would like for you to notice how placing the thought intention of receiving on the inhale and the thought intention of letting go on the exhale shapes the breathing. Let the breathing be shaped by these intentions and let the intentions be deepened by the breathing.

I would like for you to feel the inhale turn into the exhale and the exhale turn into the inhale. I would like for you to release any pauses that may be between the inhale and the exhale, so that these turnings are part of one smooth circle of continuous breathing. This will probably make the breathing slightly faster. Removing the pauses between inhale and exhale affirms that inhaling and exhaling are part of each other, that receiving is a form of letting go and letting go is a form of receiving.

I would like for you to visualize a bubble of white light surrounding your body. Feel that you are invoking the protection of the Universal Loving Energy, affirming that "nothing but love can enter this space", feeling supported by the light, blessed by this light, and cared for by this light. Feel like you can let go, at least for right here and right now, any cares and concerns that you have. If there is a strong care and concern that you have, feel like you are giving this concern to the energy in order to be healed.

Through visualizing this bubble of white light, you are invoking and activating sacred space, creating a sanctuary of peace. If you have trouble visualizing this bubble, again, do not worry and do not strain, simply intend for the bubble to be there, intend for the protection, care, and support to be there. It will be enough. If you have doubts about the ability of the light to protect you for all harm, gently acknowledge these doubts, and intend to offer these doubts into the light. You do not have to banish these doubts and there might be things that you need to do to take care of worries that are behind them. There is nothing that you are forced to believe. There is no doubt that you have to repress. Just feel this thought, move into "hypothetical faith", feel and intend "as if" this light exists. Give it a chance to show itself to you and reveal itself in your experience. This is all the belief that you will ever need. The rest will shift spontaneously as you learn from your experience. We are using the thoughts of the thinking mind to activate something in our experience that is beyond thought. Play with these thoughts and see where they lead. If the doubts are too much and block you from even doing this, if you are a little afraid and on guard that you might be brainwashed into feeling and believing in something that does not exist, you might not be ready to accept this attunement. I would recommend that you go to a Reiki energy healer, let him or her lay hand on you, and just let them channel the energy through him or her so that you can simply feel it. Sometimes, in the beginning, it is only felt as a kind of warm and peaceful energy. Some people have described it as "coming home" and feeling that one belongs again in this universe. There is a feeling of oneness with life, because this radiance connects us all together. This feeling of unity with this loving souce of all that is has within itself the basis of all healing. Behind all illness is a feeling of a self that feels isolated and separated from life. It is "crossing this I fiction" and resurrecting beyond the veil of separation that heals.

From the sacred space that you have set up, invite all the Reiki Guides, all your personal guides, and any higher guides that are part of your spiritual path. Because these guides are fully enlightened, fully liberated, totally compassionate, and telepathically sensitive, they will always respond to a sincere call for help. Invite them into this space, ask that they bless an energize your breathing, your white light bubble, and your attunement process. Ask that they take care of your worries and concerns, feel like you are giving them permission to heal your life and raise your life condition to whatever degree that you are willing, ready, and able to receive at this time.

I would like for you to visualize Dai Ko Myo, the Great Light. The symbol is the first one in this blog entry. Again, if you have trouble visualizing, simply intend. Visualize it over your head its lower edge about two inches above the soft spot at the top of your head, your "crown chakra". The symbol is within a bubble of white light about one foot in diameter. The symbol sends a beam of white light into the soft spot and goes down to the sacrum. Visualize this beam of light going down this path, touching all the chakras that it finds. Ask the Reiki Guides to bless and energize this meditation, to join you in these visualizations, and to strengthen and enliven these visualizations so that they move actual energy. Feel the energy move down to the "3rd eye chakra" the space between the eyebrows and about a half inch above. I would like for you to visualize the second symbol there. This is a symbol for me as a Reiki practitioner, teacher, and initiator. It is the place where we are linking telepathically. It will establish, stabilize, and deepen our connection. It had already been happening by you hearing my words, thinking of me, and intending to be attuned. Feel that you are receiving energy from me and the Reiki Guides, with me pouring energy through this chakra and the Reiki Guides pouring energy through and with the Dai Ko Myo symbol into the soft spot at the top of your head.

Feel the energy pour down to the throat chakra, blessing, energizing, relaxing, and healing this chakra, empowering you to creatively express your abilities, share your truth with others kindly, and allow your gifts to flow into the world as a loving service to the world. Feel the energy pour down to the heart chakra and generate a golden sun that sends golden rays of light and love to everyone that you know. Visualize you sending this love to everyone you have met during the day and during the last week. To people who merely passed you by, to gas station attendants, to grocery store check up clerks, to people walking on the side walks, to bank tellers, to politicians giving speeches, to ministers, to atheists, to agnostics, to teachers, to friends, to family, and to everyone you know and even beyond this to everyone you do not know. If you watch the news on TV, send this light and love to the TV reporters that the show presents, send it to the people in the news reports, to the many people shown on the shows that are in sorrow because of wars, natural disasters, prejudice, diseases, accidents, and abuse. Do not worry if the light and love is doing good or not. Love does always good and always uplifts people at least a little. No one is totally closed to love. Intend to send love to each person individually and focus on each one at least for just one concentrated moment.

Feel the energy descend down to the solar plexus chakra, which is at the tip of the sternum. This is the power chakra and records the energetic interactions behind our power struggles and entanglements with others. Feel yourself intend this, "I release others from any demands I have placed upon them. I release myself from any demands that have been placed on me. I let myself live my own life and I let others live their own life. I release controlling others for any reason and I release being controlled by others for any reason." Feel this thought intention release all your issues with everyone whatsoever. Feel that you are accepting everyone as they are. Release that you are not the supreme ruler of their lives and feel that they are not the supreme ruler of your life. Feel the energy release you from any pressure placed on you from others and feel yourself releasing any pressure you have placed on others, any pressure in the form of desire, seduction, expectations, demands, shoulds, musts, need to, commands, or judgments that you feel entitles you to something from them. You have the right to ask for anything, but to demand nothing. They have a right to reject your asking or fulfill it. You have the same. Feel yourself moving into this field of equal relations, where people freely agree with each other, understand each other, make win-win agreements, and live these unforced agreements with each other.

Feel the energy pour down into the belly security center where the belly button is. Feel this energy nourishing you and giving what you need as energy itself. If you needed attention, feel the energy giving you attention. If you needed validation, feel the energy giving you validation. If you needed to feel love, then feel the energy as love. Whatever it is, feel this energy as what you need in energetic form. Feel yourself trusting the energy to bring you what you need and relaxing into this, that you no longer have to strain to get what you need.

Feel the energy pour down into your sacrum and feel it nourish your desire to live, thrive, and be happy, and then feel the energy pour down into the Earth and gift the Earth itself with love flowing from Dai Ko Myo through your leg bones and through your feet. Feel also that the energy is going through your arm bones, branching from the spinal energy flow, and out your hands and into this world, so that the energy is pouring out of the golden sun in your heart, out through your hands, and out through your feet, and then finally out through every pour in your body, every time you exhale. Inhaling feeling the energy pour down into you and exhaling radiating it outward.

Then pause and just feel the attunement process that you have undergone, be with this space for a while. It is done. Namaste.

You may wish in the next three days to lay your hands on someone, gently resting your hands under their neck and gently cradling their heads, activating your attunement with visualizing Dai Ko Myo, feeling your circular breathing, and feeling the energy flow through your hands, through your loving contact with him or her, and into their mind, heart, and body. Again there is no strain, you do not have to push the energy into them, but simply let it flow to them. Trust that whever goes through you will be enough for the moment, that what is needed, what they are able to receive at this, will be enough, that they will experience some measure of inner peace. Invite them to let go to the energy in their breathing. Invite to intend to open up and relax, and then let everything happen.
When the first symbol came through in dreamtime, it was Zee Gah Nah. The symbol came with a lot of information on how it was meant to be used. It has been called "the vacuum symbol" because it removes all the energy that we have outgrown and no longer serves us. It has been used as part of the invocation of sacred space. The usual method of invoking sacred space is to visualize Cho Ku Rei in each of the eight corners of a room (four upper and four lower plus any extra ones for odd shaped rooms), Dai Ko Myo in the center of the room, and two Zee Gah Nahs on two of the walls. Sometimes a few more symbols are added to this basic invocation if they are felt to be needed, like Doh Yah Noh, the sentry symbol, which covers weaknesses in our protective field until we learn to protect ourselves.

But the primary purpose of Zee Gah Nah is related to the level 12 work. The first six attunements are empowerments for service, the next five levels are more like training levels. The last level, number 12, is about using all the empowerments, training, and tools to organize what is called "the breathing community" with the breathing community symbol initiating and sealing this work.

When a person enters the level 12 work, he or she learns to breathe in sync with the global Tanran Reiki community. Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is visualized at the 3rd Eye chakra and the breathing community symbol is visualized at the Heart chakra. There is a telepathic connection with the global community of those Tanran Reiki masters who are on the Earth. There is also a link with the Mahasangha or higher guides who form the light continuum and who are not incarnate on Earth in our present 3D journey. But the emphasis is on linking as a community of beings on Earth and breathing in sync with them. We become a "healing conspiracy". The root meaning of the word "conspiracy" meaning "to breathe together". When giving healing work to others, we can channel the combined energy of all the guides and Tanran Reiki masters through us. We become one organism, "one in the breath," and this organism, surrendered to unconditional love, intuitive wisdom, and infinite creativity, acts as a unified whole to heal this world.

The level 12 work is also about the breathing community only being those who are initiated into Tanran Reiki and who consider it more than merely another energy healing modality. There are some who only wish to use Tanran Reiki to help heal friends and family or who consider themselves to be professional energy healers. If this is all that they want Tanran Reiki for, it is okay. It is the reason why there are many levels. But the level 12 work is about a certain number of Tanran Reiki masters interlocking with each other in one breathing organism and serving the planet in a specific process.

The first part of this process is to organize into doing three things. One is to have another Tanran Reiki person to trade with and exchange sessions on a regular basis. Two is to organize into "quads" where four Tanran Reiki Masters meet, hopefully weekly, to give each other an "ascension circuit" session. This is a specific mudra where one master holds the sacrum and back of the neck, another holds the right foot and left hand, and another holds the left food and right hand. The vowel sounds, oh, oo, ee, and ah are sounded in this order as overtones or with vibrato. Ideally, there is a crystal bowl or crystal bowl on CD playing to support this sound. Ideally, it is an A note bowl with a D note bowl which form a harmonic fifth. The entire process takes about 15 minutes per a person and therefore the gathering need only take 90 minutes when you count transition time. Three is to organize a monthly Reiki share where the local community gathers and connects with each other. Everyone holds hands in a circle and intones the same four syllables for an hour. Then one has, ideally, a vegan potluck.

One commits to connecting in this threefold pattern for at least two years with the intention of taking everything that one has learned and going all the way to complete clearing of all obstructions within the energy body and through this to attain a very complete enlightenment. If the schedule is disrupted, then one merely adds the extra time to the two years. If one cannot trade with someone who lives nearby, then the trade can be remote with phone support. In a similar fashion the other two may be done via remote hookup when meeting locally is not possible.

This pattern is the foundation. The main work is to "heal the riff" that happened during the Atlantean times, when during the Atlantean civil war the oppressive ruler caused a dimensional riff to happen and negative entities poured through the riff into this world. It was an effort to bolster is failing army and was somewhat like how old armies would release fierce dogs into the battlefield to soften their opponents before attacking them. This riff is the reality behind the story about Pandora opening a box and unleashing all manner of illnesses into this world. There is a hint of sealing the riff in the Book of Revelations in the New Testament as well. The Tibetan Buddhists have memory of this riff and believe that this world will always have sorrow until the riff is closed. While merely sealing the riff is not enough to liberate this world, it will make this world journey more easily into liberation.

The process is to release thousands upon thousands of visualized Zee Gah Nahs into the world to capture the negative entities and hold them in its "containment field". In this field, the entities will be given a choice to join humankind on its evolutionary healing journey or to return back to their own worlds, through the riff. But they will no longer be free to plague humankind anymore. They will be held in containment and be transformed by those energies up to a point where they can join humankind on its level (or they can quit and go back home). The riff will be temporarily sealed with guardian energy until all the entities have been sent back. It is expected that most will wish to return back to their worlds, but that a certain percent will want to stay on Earth and become human.

The other symbols will support this process. El Leh Yah, which is normally about retrieving soul fragments, can also help extract entities when they are embedded deeply in humans and can put those entities into Zee Gah Nah.

There will also be a visualized mandala temple where certain meetings will happen and certain healing rituals performed. The Reiki Masters will be taught to visualize and meet in this temple, on the etheric plane, especially if they cannot connect with enough people on Earth to form the foundation. The temple is pyramid with four sides, one side of each of these colors, red, blue, green, and yellow/gold. The base will be white and it will have four entrances. I hope to draw this soon or get some artist to help me render this. Eventually all 300 of the original temples that existed during Atlantean times will be rebuilt and reused, first on the etheric. Some of the other Reiki lineages may also understand this work. Each is given somewhat different assignments during this phase of planetary healing. A fair number of them have already been constructed and have been around for a very long time, along with cities of light.

The skills to do this work will be coming to those who are being called to this work. Not everyone is going to feel called to this level. Not everyone likes working with negative entities, though many have had to do this in order to heal their own life and the lives of others. It is still about trusting the Reiki energy to do all the work, but we do need to know how to cooperate with this process more. We are dealing with an active intelligence which can and will try to do resistance to their capture. This is different from an illness which remains relatively the same until healed. A person will need to learn how to invoke and stay in safety in order to do this process.

The guidance that have been given is to start organizing the level 12 work at this time, even though only a small number of the Tanran Reiki Masters have gone through all of the 11 previous levels. The idea is to retrofit those who come forward to do this work with the necessary skills, empowerments, and trainings. The very act of doing this work will attract the knowledge necessary to do this. It is a growth through service.Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-83255472703516031752010-11-26T14:11:00.000-08:002010-11-30T13:15:15.001-08:00THE TWELVE LEVELS OF TANRAN REIKIThe 12 Levels of Tanran Reiki
copyright2011(wab)

Level One "Dai Ko Myo Empowerment". The master symbol is implanted during the level one in Tanran Reiki. Within Dai Ko Myo holographically is all the other symbols. This means that this is a complete attunement which has everything that a person needs. This attunement is given at the beginning of the Tanran Reiki intensive or given to people who only intend to use Reiki on family, friends, and themselves. It is useful to attunement a person who has a relative who has a long term illness so that he or she is empowered to support the healing processes of such a person. When given as part of a training intensive, the parallel learning goal is to "feel the energy" as a living force usually as tingling sensations, warm currents, a peaceful presence, and a feeling of connectedness with life in love. It is important that the energy be felt in such a way that it is a direct experience and not a mere conceptual belief.

Level Two "Reiki Practitioner". The basic set of seven symbols is given and how to use each of the symbols. This gives a person a symbolic tool kit to do Reiki as a practitioner. In Tanran Reiki, this is rarely given outside of an intensive training where all the symbols are covered. In the training intensive, people start working on each other after this attunement. It accompanies energy exercises where sound, conscious movement, contact with presence, focused attention and intention, and breathing are used. Each modality is seen to enhance the feeling of energy. Some of the specialist symbols are taught and used for the sake of healing. In Tanran Reiki, a decision was made to move people from level one to level three in one step. This intermediate step is not really used anymore, so very few people stay at level two for any length of time. All Tanran Reiki practitioners are expected to be Reiki Masters. However, during an apprenticeship training a person can, after getting this attunement, practice Reiki while working on fulfilling all their requirements to become a Reiki Master.

Level three "Reiki Master". This attunement is with all the symbols. The attunements were done with hand gestures and special touch points, to activate meridians, and open the crown chakra. This is being replaced by the use of visualization and chanting which works deeper and allows everyone to get attuned at the same time during a class. This attunement requires a commitment to live one's whole life "within the energy". This commitment allows the "root of karma" to be dissolved by Divine Grace.

Level four "Long Life Empowerment". A new symbol set of 7 symbols is given to upgrade the commitment to a higher level. This is where the practitioner chooses to end aging and death. The body is more fully included on this level of healing. A person is expected to become at least a vegetarian and even a vegan. A person does not need to actually be practicing this when they get this attunement, but needs to have the genuine intention to make this change.

Level Five "Pure Eternal Life Attunement". This is another symbol set that relates integrating attitudes that transcend the birth and death cycle. When combined with the Long Life Empowerment, we realize that we are eternal right now and live this truth.

Level Six "Energy Maturity Attunement". This is another symbol set that relates to advanced way of working with energy, partly for emotional processing and partly so that one can generating measurable "psychic heat" from the human body.

Level seven "Special Symbols Attunement". These are a symbol set that does not overlay on the seven chakras. These are the five relationship healing symbols, the soul retrieval symbol, and the protection symbol.

Level eight "Crystal Attunement". This level does not add any new symbols except the five traditions symbol, but includes the use of crystals, sounds, overtone chanting, sacred geometry, energy boxes, charging water, making of healing tools, and finding the resonance frequeny of energy blocks in order to dissolve them.

Level nine "Breathing Attunement". This level does not add any new symbols, except the breathing community symbol, but focuses on a deeper understanding of breathing. Rebirthing breathing is taught, as well as breath of fire, Tumo breathing, element breathing, and rakira breathing. A deeper level of the Tanran Symbol is shown.

Level ten "Emotional Processing". This level does not include any new symbols except the emotional transmutation symbol. It is about learning to verbally guide a person through an emotional wave.

Level eleven "Neural Net Attunement". This level does not include any new symbols except the gate symbol. It is about learning to do a kind of bodywork that is "energy compatible".

Level twelve "Planetary Service Attunement". This level does not include any new symbols, but shows all the symbols forming a giant mandala and a hidden etheric temple within the mandala. This attunement is about organizing the Tanran Reiki community on the planet so that the Earth can become a Pure Land. This also involves "healing the riff" that happened during later Atlantean times, when a tear in the fabric of space and time happened and negative entities came through that are still plaguing humankind and are behind the illnesses, emotional stress, and sorrow that exists in our world. Zee Gah Nah, Dai Ko Myo, Cho Ku Rei, El Leh Yah, Do Yah Noh, and other symbols are used in a coordinated fashion to capture these entities and give them a choice to become human or to return back to their worlds, but are no longer allowed to harm humans. Once all the entities are captured, then the riff will be completely sealed. Then the final work for the healing of Earth can happen by working with the energies until there is nothing but love. The Reiki community will be organized into pairs, quads, Reiki shares, and linked globally through communication online and telepathically.Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-44712551629517512852010-11-15T08:06:00.001-08:002010-11-15T08:40:24.519-08:00Picture of Reiki in Action
The above picture is from Grace Mantle and is published here with her permission. There are three levels, the Dharmakaya, Shambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. The Dharmakaya is the realm of pure principles that permeate all of space and time. The law of karma would be a pure principle. This is an energy presence that permeates the universe and unites causes and effects with each other on all levels of materiality, including the level of mental intention and emotional feeling. It is an impersonal principle which applies equally to all sentient beings. It is like the law of gravity. If you walk off a building, you will fall and break your leg. There is no personal deity pulling you down and breaking your leg, just the operation of an impersonal law.

Buddhism has sometimes been considered atheistic or agnostic when it comes to a personal god. Buddhism has contained many different beliefs about the existence of dieties and about the existence of a supreme monotheistic diety. But the general orientation of Buddhism has been to believe in an impersonal Dharmakaya which permeates all of life and which regulates life through a system of principles or laws which impartially activate when the right conditions are met. Even though this Dharmakaya is impersonal, not having an ego personality, it is not merely impersonal on the level of feeling. It is infused with a feeling of very warm compassion which radiates to all sentient beings and which nourishes them to the degree that each is open to receiving. This love is unconditional in the sense that it has no prejudice about who should or should not receive it. This love is also nonviolent in the sense that it will never force itself to enter into anyone and heal them without conscious permission. There is a radical respect for the free choice of all sentient beings behind this love. It also wants to give all manner of good things to everyone, to bless everyone with prosperity, health, long life, and happiness, and to bless everyone with evolution into a light being. This wish operates according to law in the sense that it cannot play favorites. If someone prays that god have their football team win a game and someone else prays that the rival team wins, the Dharmakaya will not answer either prayer. What is wished for needs to bless all people equally. The Dharmakaya may or may not have one team or another win that football game, however, depending on what outcome most serves the highest good of all concerned.

When the Buddha was meditating deeply on to supreme perfect enlightenment, he was reported to have seen the realm of the gods and goddesses. He saw that they were still beings subject to the law of karma and that they were not the creators of the universe. They had a subtle arrogance about who they were and sometimes fed on worship. He saw, with his third eye, that many of them would, when their good karma was exhausted, fall into rebirth as a human, animal, demon, hungry ghost, or asura. He saw, too, that many of them did not see a need to meditate into supreme perfect enlightenment, since they felt that they had already arrived at the highest state of consciousness.

The Five Buddha Mandala is a representation of the five main energies of the Dharmakaya. It is similar to the Trinity of Christianity, except instead of three there are five. The earlier version apparently also had three principles that were love, creativity, and wisdom (add purity/innocence/conscience and empowerment/impartiality/manifesting to get five). Every good quality is really within the Dharmakaya. There is no quality in the universe that is truly evil. What appears to be negative, hostile, and cruel is a confused afflicted energy born of ignorance. Through wisdom, acceptance, and love we can transform all confused afflicted energies into their enlightened and noble aspect.

If I were to translate the Trikaya into theistic terms, my sense is that Buddhists would be Pantheists or Panentheists. The Dharmakaya is the invisible regulating power of the universe, the Shambhogakaya would be the psychological level, and the Nirmanakaya would be the physical level. The Buddhists do not believe that a creator god can exist that stands apart from creation and runs it long distance. The Dharmakaya is part of the totality of the universe and regulates the universe by being part of it. This way of seeing life eventually allows the entire universe to be seen as a manifestation of the Divine.

The Shambhogakaya is roughly equivalent to the Bardo or Dreamtime, the intermediate space that sentient beings travel through between lifetimes. It is also the place we go to when we have lucid dreams. Many Tibetan Buddhist practices are based on using Dreamtime to get liberated. For instance, when you visualize a Cosmic Bodhisattva and Cosmic Dakini in the yabyum position making love to each other, feel yourself as both of them (or one of them), and then dissolve their bodies into light, you will feel enlightenment. There is a deep spiritual and psychological reason why this works. Feeling enlightenment and being enlightened are not quite the same, though, but feeling enlightenment will help one to become enlightened. The difference is subtle. For instance, you can visualize "2+2=4" and feel the truth of this equation, but knowing "2+2=4" is deeper and more permanent. If a person does the Shambhogakaya visualizations regularly, as part of his or her practice, then at some point the knowing will flash across consciousness and enlightenment will happen. When this happens, one has a conscious connection to the Dharmakaya.

There is a problem with believing in a personal monotheistic supreme god or goddess, because such a ruler would be directly responsible for all the pain all sentient beings experience. If you assume that god is a giant talking personality with infinite power, present everywhere, knowing everything, and who is wishing well on everyone, you have what philosophers call "the problem of evil". If god is all powerful and good, then why does he or she not stop all the evil from happening. If we get angry because someone just stood there while someone got raped, then how do we feel about a god who was also there and not stopping the rape? With the human bystander, we can understand that he or she felt too weak, too afraid, too emotionally closed down, or too confused to do something, but a god who supposedly has all the noble qualities within him or her would not have this excuse. When you have a personal god, then all the stuff that happens becomes ugly and becomes his or her responsibility. At the very least, he or she is allowing it to happen.

An impersonal principle is like gravity. It is not malicious when it merely pulls someone down and causes them pain. It is not waiting in ambush to pull someone down when they are close to the edge of a building. It is merely being itself. If we are conscious of the law, know how it works, then we can avoid falling by respecting how it works.

There is another law or principle in the Dharmakaya which is called "Divine Grace" or "Tariki". This principle does not violate the law of karma but does transcend it. This is similar to how airplanes seem to defy the law of gravity and fly across the sky. My sense is that Christianity, through the teaching of Jesus, through the parables, and through the story of the crucifixion and resurrection were trying to express an intuitive understanding of Divine Grace and Unconditional Love. My sense is that the Dogmas of Fundamentalist Christianity failed to correctly intuit this principle and attached itself to false teachings that confused, negated, and clouded the central message of Jesus. For instance, the idea of Eternal Hell is false to a pure understanding of Divine Grace. Even if, because of karma, people ended up in a hellish rebirth (which is very possible and which you can see such rebirths even on Earth), you would have infinite chances of repentance of the karmaic deeds responsible and purification of the karma through Divine Grace. It is because of Divine Grace that we have the assurance that every sentient being, even demons, will eventually become enlightened, and we have the assurance that Earth will eventually become a Pure Land or part of Heaven. There is no time when a person who is in sorrow cannot open up, let him or her be fully healed, and be uplifted step by step into a higher and happier state until they reach the supreme bliss of perfect enlightenment.

The Nirmanakaya is the actual physical body of a Buddha or Dakini. The phrase in the New Testament (John 1:14) of the "Word made flesh" is a good expression for the Nirmanakaya. It is clear from the chapter as a whole that the Word is a creative principle and is about Divine Grace. When we meditate deeply and fully enough, we become "the principle expressed in our life and in our bodies". The very cells of our bodies change into the likeness of this principle. This is why the Five Buddha mandala has a Bodhisattva interlocked with a Dakini in yabyum mudra. The Bodhisattva is the wisdom principle and the Dakini is the associated element. The wisdom and the element are always together and feeling their unity is enlightenment. In the Amida Buddha mandala, the wisdom principle is Divine Grace, Conscience, and Pure Perception and the element is Fire, Purification, and Karma Burning. One feeling that is the unity of the two is the feeling of remorse. This is where we regret all our unloving thoughts, emotions, and actions. We regret them, because we realize that any moment spend not loving anyone and everyone is time lost in a meaningless life. We regret living out all those unloving karmaic dramas. Through conscience, remorse, and karma burning, the very seeds of all the karmaic tendancies that are stored away in the subconscious mind are wiped out. The sign of this accomplishment is forgiveness of all sentient beings for everything that they have done. We have no more anger towards any of them for anything that they have done. We realize that they are still under karma and have pity for them that they will still need to suffer for the unresolved karma. There is a Buddhist saying that goes, "You are not punished for your sins, but by them."

This understanding shows a basic difference between some versions of Christian teachings and the core understanding of the grace of Amida Buddha. Christianity took the legal metaphors of Saint Paul too literally, and felt that when you accept Jesus as personal Lord and Savior that you immediately go under a new legal contract that guarantees a reservation in heaven when you die and which negates the previous sentence to roast in the fires of eternal hell that everyone on Earth is doomed to unless they do take this clause. But in Buddhism, the karmas are stored in the subconscious minds as latent tendencies which are activated by sense experiences. For instance, an alcoholic may not be feeling conscious craving for alcohol, but suddenly feels the urge to drink when he or she sees someone drinking a can of beer. The urge to drink was stored in a subconscious mental seed impression until activated by a sensory experience to seeing the can of beer. When this impulse is acted upon, then it leads to the karma of alcoholism aka getting drunk, puking, and having a headache the next day, and the secondary effects of losing the respect and love of family and friends who are alienated by the exaggerated anger states, emotional manipulations, and betrayals of trust that emerge from the alcoholic consciousness, even the tertiary effects of accelerated aging and premature death, and even the fifth level effects of rebirth into the demon realm (the demon realm is characterized by endless warfare where demons are fighting demons in anger, everyone believing they are right and the others wrong).

My feeling is that there was a karma burning practice called "the Holy Breath" that got wrongly translated as the third person of the Christian Trinity (the Holy Spirit) and that to "pray continuously in the breath" and "keep on yielding to the breath and you will continue to be saved" were indications of a "process of salvation" that reached the end when you had received "the crown". One church in the New Testament was urged to keep pressing on until they have received the crown (of glory aka enlightenment aka crown chakra opening up) when the another was admonished to "hold fast to the crown". It showed that merely being Christians did not give one the crown. The Greek language of the New Testament has the Aorist tense which is near equivalent to the progressive tense in English. It used to describe a process, rather than a final state. Saint Paul uses it in regard to salvation. He does talk about a "mystery" in his letters to Corinth where he describes flesh (cells) differing in glory (energy) and associates this with the Holy Breath which was powerful enough to raise Jesus from the dead. He also talked about if Jesus was not raised from the dead that "our faith is in vain". It is interesting that fundamentalist Christianity does not really need the resurrection. It is the crucifixion that "pays the price for the sins". The resurrection is at best a proof of the importance of the crucifixion and is not really needed. But Saint Paul sees the resurrection is so important that if it did not happen then his faith would be worthless. Why? Because it shows Divine Grace and the Holy Breath burning away so much karma that even death is conquered in the physical body and the cells radiate a different energy as a result. The resurrection thus becomes a scientific demonstration of the attainment of a light body. It becomes the "basis of faith" in the same way that the atomic bomb blowing up proved E=MC2.

So when a Buddhist sees that fundamentalist Christians still have a load of samskaras and yet believing that they are completely saved, it seems like a delusion. The samskaras are going to activate in the bardo and be experienced as possibly terrifying hallucinations, just as they now activate in dreams and sometimes nightmares. In waking life, they activate as temptations to action and cause the general life condition that we live. The born again experience, if real, is the "earnest of the holy breath", a kind of down payment that promises the house in heaven will eventually be ours, but it still requires "dying daily" to our karmaic tendencies, forgiving others, and letting ourselves be fully healed. It is materialistic to think that heaven is merely a place you can go and be happy. This is just as much an illusion as thinking relocating to a paradise resort is going to solve all your problems. For instance, if an entire Christian family dies and goes to heaven, lives in a beautiful house in heaven, then they are pretty much going to have whatever problems and challenges they had on Earth. The Buddha once said that "karma is in the interdependence" (interactions between people). Unless these tendencies are purified here, relocating to a heaven world will not wipe away all sorrow.

In the Pure Land teachings, if you chant to Amida Buddha just ten times, you will get into the Pure Land, but if you have a lot of strong adverse karmas, you are kept in a Lotus bubble (warp containment field) and are not allowed to interact with the other participants of Sukhavati. You will spend the next 500 years in this bubble until all your tendencies are purified. It is like a special womb that holds you until you are ready. The number 500 is probably not literal, 100 is a number for completion and 5 is the number for the five senses. It symbolizes complete purification of the five senses so that nothing we see, hear, taste, smell, or touch activates a karmaic samskara. Paradoxically, when the energy burns away all the samskara, this may play out as dreams of being on Earth that are so vivid that you might feel you are here. The difference is that you might have a "dream" of a Bodhisattva or Dakini occasionally opening the Lotus bubble to see how you are doing.

The Trikaya Buddhist teachings are integral to Vajrayana Buddhism and Amritayana Buddhism. They are part of the philosophical and psychological structure which is behind the meditation practices. They are also integral to Tanran Reiki, because the visualization of the symbols and why they work is related to Dreamtime or the Shambhogakaya. They conduct the energies of the Dharmakaya so that we can be healed in our mind, heart, and body (nirmanakaya). Each symbol is a lens for Divine Grace to bless us with specific healings. It is possible to open up to Divine Grace and generically be healed of everything, to be healed just be visualization of love as light into our bodies. But the different lens are different permissions for Divine Grace to manifest within. This is why one symbol heals our "inner child", another symbol is for "soul retrieval", another symbol is for "genetic purification", another symbol for "family healing", etc. Just as white sunlight has a rainbow spectrum within it, so do the Reiki symbols embody different aspects of Divine Grace. They work in Dreamtime. Yet the Dakini in the yabyum means the very elements of our body (nirmanakaya) are affected. The process is not real unless we experience "tumo" the heat of the purifying fire of hreeh in our bodies. Otherwise faith becomes an abstract mental belief rather than a living reality that we experience. The Dakini is the initiator and activator of the Divine Grace as a felt experience.

One note is that usually the word "Nirmanakaya" only refers to the physical body of a fully enlightened being. I have used the word "nirmanakaya" with a small "n" to refer to our physical bodies before supreme perfect enlightenment.
Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-23402933883591940522010-11-07T14:16:00.000-08:002010-11-14T09:54:28.556-08:00Amida Buddha Mandala
The above is a mandala dedicated to Amida Buddha, invoking Amida Buddha for protection and invoking Dai Ko Myo for protection. There is a mixture of bija mantras and Tanran Reiki symbols. There is the soul retrieval (El-leh-yah) symbol to gather back the lost pieces of life force that others may be taken from us. There is the vacuum (Zee-Gah-Nah) symbol to remove implants others may have put inside us. There are two Cho Ku Rei symbols, both clockwise and counterclockwise, to anchor the invocation into our life. There are two Dai Ko Myo symbols to invoke sacred space as luminous energy. There are two Doh-Yah-Noh symbols to invoke a guardian energy until we learn how to protect ourselves.

There three large symbols are "Om", "Ah", and "Hreeh" respectively (from top downwards). This is shorthand for "Om Namo Amida Buddha Hreeh" (which is present twice in the mandala in full form followed by its abbreviation) which invokes Amida Buddha, the Buddha of Love and Light, as well as the Buddha of Health and Infinite Life. It also invokes Pandaravasini (Queen of Fire) in her seed syllable form (Hreeh). She is the activation dakini who brings Tariki (Divine Grace, the Other Power) into our mind, heart, and body.

The three rings are Hreeh, Ah, and Om respectively (outside to inwards). The Hreeh ring burns away anything that tries to enter us that is not born of loving intention. The Ah ring transmutes any energy that passes through the ring of fire and sends back blessing, loving, appreciating, and grateful energy to the sender. It is the Tonglen level of altruistically exchanging karma for the benefit of all sentient beings and the "turn the other cheek, bless those who curse you" level of Jesus. If an energy passes through these two levels, then there is the Om mirror level where the negative energy is sent back to the owner who must endure the karma boomerang lesson that is involved. The implication is that such a negative energy would have to have a lot of intentional force and sustained attitude behind it in order to not be burned up in the first layer or transmuted in the second layer. This means that it is a "karma lock" or "earned karma" that a person has unwittingly worked hard to receive, enough though it will most likely be a painful lesson. Because some of the energy is burned away and transmuted, the karma is softened some and a grace energy goes back to the owner to surround the lesson in as much grace as possible.

The internal symbols clean up any implanted karmas that managed to enter our lives before we invoked protection and gather back any parts of our life force that are outside the ring of protection that might be vulnerable.

There are three practices implied in this mandala. One is that visualization of the Hreeh fire and the Om liquid light mixing in the Ah silvery blue Heart radiance. This is the Amida Buddha version of the Tumo Yoga practice. Two is the chanting to Amida Buddha to keep the first practice activated inside us. Three is chanting Om to create a vortex of protected sacred space and then breathe in "Ah" on the inhale and breathe out "Hreeh" on the exhale so that the energy of Amida Buddha and Pandaravasini penetrate every cell in our body.

Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-11730054121698041662010-09-11T09:05:00.001-07:002010-09-11T17:08:48.198-07:00Doh Yah Noh
Figure 1. There is a faint figure of a person in a lotus posture in the center of this picture. In this meditation, interlocking Doh Yan Nohs are constructed of about 6 to 8 inches in length. To be precise, Dai Ko Myo is visualized at the top of the head, with white light energy pouring into and down the spine. When the energy reaches the solar plexus center at the tip of the sternum, the Doh Yah Nohs are projected out from this chakra.

Figure 2. This is the symbol for Doh Yah Noh. The text below gives more detail about this symbol and how it is used. More information is in the Tanran Reiki Study Guide.

The above symbol is called Doh Yah Noh. The meaning of the symbol is "I will protect you until you learn to protect yourself". We are meant to totally rely on Divine Grace to protect us always, but because our faith in this protection is imperfect we sometimes need to be covered by something that can make up for our lack of faith. When we have been used to given away our power to others and even to matter itself, we need to be covered by this symbol. It is also called the "the sentry" because it is posted at the gate of our energy sphere so that nothing but love can enter in.

This symbol came during the first Reiki Class that I taught. One of the people had a powerful opening and release of an oppression. An external power that imposed itself through the 3rd chakra was released. A Reiki Guide guided me to place this symbol inside the chakra and said, "She is not yet ready to fully empower herself yet. She has made great steps of courage just to be in this class. Yet she has still too much fear inside her. Left to herself, she is still wide open to oppressive powers getting into her aura and her life. This symbol will block them so that she can rebuild her life under her own power. It will protect her until she learns to protect herself."

Since this first appearance, I have been guided to place this symbol in many auras, always with permission. When it is placed in the chakra system, its natural home is in the 3rd chakra, at the tip of the sternum, also known as the power center. This center is fully healed by clear boundaries. This is where you give the right to others to live their life any way that they choose and where you give yourself the same right to do the same, and then only meet with others in unforced agreements. Each of us has a right to live our own truth, learn through our own creativity and even our own mistakes, even if these mistakes could be fatal. We can help others not make unwise choices by gentle loving communication, but must step aside if they choose to continue on what seems to us as an unwise path. When we are parenting someone, someone who is under our guardianship, we may have enough authority to restrict him or her from doing these unwise things, until they are ready to "leave the nest". This is a different situation, because children give permission for parents to serve as their guardians until they reach adulthood. In a sense, Doh Yah Noh works in a similar manner and gently overrides our unwise openness to certain forces surrounding us and protects us until we understand what is truly helpful to us and what is not.

There is a meditation where one weaves a force field around the energy sphere of interlocking triangles, half pointing up and half pointing down. The color of the eye is fiery neon red for burning away tentacles trying to hook into our energy. The space radiates white light for illumination. The lines are silvery blue for health, immortality, life force, and strength. The sphere is roughly described by the radius our arms would make if we extended them horizontally away from the body and then spun around. Leonardo DaVinci showed the sphere in one of his pictures related to the phi ratio. This sphere is our personal space. Life gives us this much room in this world as a sacred trust. No one is allowed into this space without our permission. In the depths of romantic love, we allow our lovers to enter in stages, surrendering deeper and deeper into each other, and form the vesica pisces when we do (looks like a lens). This opening must be allowed and never forced. Any violent thought hurts this process. Intimacy (into-me-see) must be earned through being trustworthy and ends when there is some hurt. It is a delicate process. Many open too fast and are actually aggressive in their opening. A subtle violence is part of this. The process of opening is like a dance and needs its own time and rhythm. An old phrase, "wearing one's heart on one's sleeve", describes this kind of intimacy hurry and aggression.

The symbol is placed on the edge of the aura during initiation to seal it. This symbol is unique to the Tanran System. Other lineages seal the aura by intention and touch only, but in Tanran Reiki more extensive use of visualized symbols is integral to how it works. Pleidian Light healing uses a visualized rose in a similar manner.

Doh Yah Noh is not to be confused with the Eye of Horus or the All Seeing Eye on the Dollar Bill. These function differently than Doh Yah Noh and are not associated with the same name. The symbol's name "Doh Yah Noh" is also a chant that can be used to reinforce its power when evolving a protective field. "Doh" is trustful surrender, "Yah" is life, and "Noh" is ordinary experience or anchoring in the mundane world. One trustfully surrenders to life for protection and safety in the mundane world. The name of this symbol is from Itanamic language and this language is nondualistic and invocational. Chanting the name of the symbol invokes the living reality behind it.

Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-28411669992720916612010-08-28T08:53:00.000-07:002010-08-28T11:17:34.080-07:00Reiki Training Outline: Notes for TeachersThis writing is mainly for those who are choosing to teach Tanran Reiki. I wanted to write this so that all the essential training points are covered during the training. Some of the information differs somewhat from the book and from earlier trainings. Tanran Reiki is a growing and evolving tradition. It branched off from the Usui and Hayashi lineage by the first person receiving new symbols in dreamtime. These symbols were not sought out nor was there any wish to create a new lineage. It seems that Reiki just wanted to grow this way. From the vantage point in present time, I found that there are at least two other lineages that have received symbols in dreamtime and have been evolving from this kind of connection. One is Seichim Reiki and the other I have not been able to track down. A large number of Reiki Masters from many lineages have received symbols in dreamtime or even during Reiki sessions. They are sometimes called personal symbols. I still get drawings from many students of symbols they have received. I hope to compile these at some time and have them shared through this blog. In one sense, all the spiritual symbols of all the planetary and extraplanetary spiritual traditions are available to a Reiki practitioner. When I had my level two attunement, I had a visionary experience which was very vivid where I was flying across the planet and seeing all the symbols come to life. Reiki is about using the symbols to feel the living experience and understanding behind them. They are seen as promises by the Reiki guides to link one to the Universal Loving Energy that permeates all of space and time. Just like light going through a prism becomes a rainbow, this love, as a healing energy, becomes many kinds of healing energies. Sei He Ki is love as the fulfillment of unmet emotional needs, mainly from childhood. Tez Reh Oh is love as healing of family and genetic karma. El Leh Yah is about love as recovering fragments of our soul energy that have been lost, usually due to trauma. In any every case, Love as Divine Grace wants to completely heal us for all disease conditions and give us a happy life. It wants to heal us into itself, to help us become part of the energy of love itself. We feel oneness and unity with love, with each other, and life as part of our healing process. While Divine Grace does all the work and we mainly stand back and allow this love to flow through us to others, allowing the energy to have its way, there is a training that is useful for Reiki practitioners to undergo. We are trained how to support the process and to do our part. We become part of the mahasangha, the great spiritual community, of all those who have become a conscious, individualized, and living aspect of the Great Light (Dai Ko Myo), who are one with this light, and who have purified, transmuted, or released any energy that is not in harmony with this light. While most of us on Earth are "in process", learning how to be fully integrated aspects of this loving energy, the mahasangha has already attained perfect enlightenment and have totally integrated their lives within the oneness of this energy. They do not have any aspect of their being that is not in harmony with this light. They always "walk in the light" and do not suffer the pains of separation any longer. The mahasangha are the Reiki Guides. This includes the Guides of every religion that is based on love. However, the ones who are specifically called Reiki Guides are those who choose to support the specific sacrament of healing that is a part of this lineage. The mahasangha will eventually include all the Reiki masters of this lineage who walk the Earth, because Divine Grace only needs our intention and commitment to allow this to happen. When a person takes the level three attunement, they sign up for this healing journey. They commit to going all the way to the very end. They can be a part of any religion that has a compatible understanding of enlightenment. They can also be a member of no religion. They can even be atheists if they want, though the vision of Universal Loving Energy permeating all of existence is an essential element of Reiki. This is a Divine and Sacred energy, the creative source of all that is. While this vision may not be the same thing as an anthropomorphic god who sits in judgment on all sentient beings after they die, it is also not the mere absence of anything Greater than human beings either. The energy can be felt, through training, to flow through the hands and to heal others to the degree that they allow this to happen. It can eventually be felt to be a cosmic energy that creates stars and planets. This energy, to me, is what converted the physical body of Jesus into a light body when he had his transfiguration, what resurrected his physical body from the dead after his crucifixion, and what eventually creates a fully integrated light body after his ascension. I believe that this energy has the power to heal us even of aging and death, and also convert our physical body to a light body.

The outline of training for the class that has levels one, two, and three is:

(1) The difference between chi, jing, and shen levels of energy work. Chi work is basic generation of energy, usually through conscious breathing. Jing work is where we intentionally move energy according to where we think it needs to go. Shen work is where we trust the wisdom of the energy itself and support the process that the energy wants to do. Reiki is shen level work. While jing work is usually safe, it may not always find the path of least resistance and it may overwhelm the person with more than he or she can handle. Jing work is limited by the knowledge and skill of the practitioner who can still make mistakes. When working with humans, whose healing process can be very complex, subtle mistakes or simply not finding the optimal path are very possible. Most of these mistakes merely do not succeed in doing what is optimal and are usually okay in the larger scheme of things. But shen work, guided by the wisdom of the energy itself, does not have this limitation, provided that we learn how to stay out of the way and still do our part.

(2) The Three Gestures of Dai Ko Myo, circular conscious breathing, and being present at the place of contact with the other are the three things that are our part. Visualization of Dai Ko Myo, asking the Reiki Guides to bless this activation, and visualizing the energy of Dai Ko Myo flow down from the sphere above the head, into the soft spot, down the spine to the juncture where the collar bone is, down the arms, out the palms of the hands, to the other person is the first gesture. The second gesture is to consciously breathe in circular fashion, not pausing between inhale and exhale, and relaxing into the energy flow, allowing the energy flow, and surrendering to the energy flow is the second gesture. The third gesture is to be present at the place of contact with the other. This is true even in remote Reiki, though the contact is more subtle. There are Chi Kung like exercises to get a feeling of how to be present even in our own bodies. We usually think of ourselves as a phantom "I" that is sitting inside the brain and head, looking out the eyes, rather than an energy that permeates our whole body. We learn to be present in our whole body and focus this presence where we are meeting the person, where we are laying our hands, and relax into being a conduit for the energy to flow through us to him or her. If we are doing this, and only this, then we will do very good Reiki. If we are uncertain of what we are doing, we can remember that we are not alone, check our connection through Dai Ko Myo, surrender in the circular breathing, and hold connection with the other person. The rest is not up to us. It is between the Universal Loving Energy and the person who is opening up to the energy through us. It is important that we do not "try to heal them". A Reiki practitioner is a channel for healing. We are not the source of healing and not the doer of healing. We might be tempted to take on this other role and separate from being a conduit. This is "taking over the process", rather than allowing the process. We are meant to activate this process, support this process and trust this process, but not do this process. When we take over the process, then we shift from shen work down to jing work. It might even be effective, but it becomes limited by our residual karma and we might get more tired from all our effort. If we are efforting, tensing, and straining, it is a sign that we have shifted our role and need to return to relaxed surrender. Our breathing is the check in point for this.

(3) The energy exercises are designed to deepen the feeling of how to work with the energy, to develop a deep sense of what the three gestures mean and what it feels like to activate, align, and contact. The exercises are named here in list form:

> mime wall

> Tai Chi hand extension with and without presence in hand

> drawing Cho Ku Rei

> drawing with presencing

> drawing with presencing and breathing

> drawing with presencing, breathing, and chanting

> pairing off and staring into the left eye of the other person, right palm down, left palm up, with the other person having their palm two inches away from our palm, then toning "ah", "oh", "oo", and "ee" with vibrato, noticing how each feels, and then just breathing and feeling the "magnetic pulse" between the hands.

> group letting go exercise

> paired off flow exercises

> push hands and sphere exercise

> slap hands and holding sensation exercise

> chi generation chi kung exercises (modified jam jong set)

> the ascension circuit

> implanting symbols in the aura

> energy brushing

> use of symbols during session

> attunement protocol done in pairs

> the guided visualizations associated with the symbols

> invoking and anchoring sacred space through circle of white light

> invoking and anchoring sacred space with Cho Ku Rei in corners, Dai Ko Myo in the center, and two Zee Gah Nahs on the walls

> contact with another imagining a bad day and a great day in the mind, noticing how random thoughts affect the energy flow

> verbal support exercises using the "Its okay mantra" ("It is okay to [blank]").

> Taoist "having a ball" exercise (and then pushing in down the top of the head of another after filling it with gold energy).

> Visualizing a large silvery blue ball in the center of the group and everyone feeding it energy with visualization, projecting hands, and breathing.

(4) The Guided Visualizations. These are more important in Tanran Reiki, since the attunements have shifted to being mainly visualizations. It has been found that the interlocking visualizations used in the attunement process for each symbol (and the Cosmic Temple visualization) produce a deep and stable link with the Universal Loving Energy. It is easier to attune a whole group this way. The Reiki Guides said that this modality of attunement transmission will be more used over time, even to attuning 1,000 people at the same time. It is also the only modality that works when doing a remote attunement. If possible, it is good to support this with chanting and with the tones of an "A" note crystal bowl (the "A" note is keyed into the 3rd eye and is where a remote link is made). The visualizations are in the attunement scripts in the Reiki manual.

(5) The attunement gestures. These are still taught and are in the manual. They are good when a one to one attunement is given or when there is a group initiating one person into the Reiki energy. It makes a nice ritual and is useful. But as mentioned above, the attunements are going to be mainly transimitted through visualization, intention, breathing, mudras, and chanting, rather than through the touch gestures of the previous versions. Seichim Reiki is running a parallel evolution on this point.

(6) Discussions are useful. Going over the 25 points is very good, though this is covered in the homework also. People can usually feel the Universal Loving Energy just through talking about the 25 points. This is how available and gracious the energy is. Going over legal issues, sexual boundaries, client confidentiality, and how to handle money is also important, especially when the group is professionally focused. It is less essential when a person is only learning Reiki to lay hands on friends and family. The five relationship symbols, specifically, are meant to be discussed. The Reiki Guides shared that they would heal through invocation, the guided meditations, and then through discussion and sharing of what they evoked in people. Relationship itself is mainly about discussion and sharing, with sexual union really being a deep intimate communicative sharing of love. Whatever issues show up in a sexual relationship also show up in discussion. In the certification process, the manual and the homework will make sure that these items are covered. There is redundancy built into the process to make sure the key elements are reviewed enough so that everyone gets it.

The key thing during the intensive is attunements, exercises, discussion, and some hands on practice. The purpose of the exercises is to give a living feeling of the energy. It is important that the energy is not just a mere belief, but an actual felt reality that one learns how to work with. If people do not feel this, then the exercises did not work for them. This has been very rare. Only two people did not feel the energy at all after teaching over 300 people. These two had issues with feeling that, when released did allow them to feel the energy. One of them was punished in childhood for being psychic and shut down her feeling for energy because of that. When this issue was released, her ability to feel the energy spontaneously and easily came back. The other had a trauma abuse shutdown. This took time to fully release, but even when the trauma was not fully cleared, the ability to feel the energy came back when the issue started to get addressed.

If a group does not feel the energy after some of the exercises, then stay with the exercises for a longer period of time until they do. In particular, go into detail about how to breathe, chant the vowel sounds, and take time with the basics. As a teacher, too, it is important for us to realize that even in a class that the Reiki Guides are doing the big work and we are just doing our part. Trusting them will make the process easier.
Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-44130079075441249192010-08-11T12:08:00.000-07:002010-08-12T11:02:08.891-07:00The Five Relationship Healing Symbols
THE FIVE TANRAN REIKI RELATIONSHIP HEALING SYMBOLS

I would like for all of you to lie down in a comfortable position. Please check your posture to see if you are as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Slowly and gently make any adjustments in your position until your body tells you that it feels comfortable. Sometimes a tension does not dissolve by making such adjustments. In this case, thank the tension for being there, as we will use the tension as a stimulus to go deeper into our healing process. It is natural to be somewhat tense about working with the five relationship healing symbols, because we are touching upon an area where humans have literally experienced both their deepest wounds and deepest joys. The planet Earth, also, has experienced cycles of male and female gender dominance. In both cases, the repressive processes were painful and limiting to the submissive gender. Male and females flourish when true equality is present and the deepest levels of Tantra can only open up when there is not even the wish that one gender controls the other gender. Only in the atmosphere of trust and mutual respect can a relationship reach its highest level of evolution.

In the Reiki symbol, Toh Noh Men, male and female are resting in each other. The word "Toh Noh Men" is Itanamic language and means we choose from our essence to experience liking another person. In Itanamic language, "oh" words relate to the manifest world and "ah" words relate to essential qualities. Words with "eh" relate to choices and "n" words relate to experiences. In the beginning, the heart chooses to open up to simply liking someone. There is no guarantee that anything eternal is going to come out of the mutual attraction between male and female. It is just an experience which is drawing us into itself. Yet there is a hint of the eternal in the Itanamic root "men" (not at all to be confused with the English word "men" which is pronounced differently, the Itanamic pronouncing is somewhat like "mehn"). Whenever a choice is made, as opposed to an automatic reaction, something of the essential is present. This means that male and female principles are coequal and eternal. Everything in the "ahka", the essential realm, is equal and eternal. This means that a real choice brings the essential into our life. This is why we feel so very alive when we are in love with someone, even if it is merely a puppy love. It is the essential waking up inside of us and manifesting itself in form.

The symbol is a circle with a dot inside resting in a cup. The circle dot part is the male solar energy. The dot symbolizes the need of male energy to be centered in its own radiant nature. The dot also symbolizes that male energy is very concentration oriented. The very word "concentration" means "process of being with center". Male energy needs to be centered within itself and within its solar purpose in order to feel good about itself.

The female energy part of the symbol is composed of three parts, the curve, the stick and the platform. The curve represents her embracing, nurturing, and holding energy. It also represents her lunar side and how she will flow from one mood to another during her lunar or menstrual cycle. The stick represents her sense of self worth or dignity. It also symbolizes her spine, which is meant to be gentle, loose, and erect. Woman feels good about herself when she supports her moods and honors what she feels. She also feels good about herself when she is rooted in the Earth and draws power from her connection with nature. The platform symbolizes standing and drawing power from the Earth. Just as a male needs to feel good about himself by centering in himself and centering in his purpose, female energy needs to feel good by honoring her feelings and by being rooted in nature.

The two parts, male and female, are resting in each other and relaxing into each other. This is a natural thing to do. A natural male easily respects female energy and a natural female easily respects male energy. When this ease is not present, then something needs to be healed inside the male or female. This mutual resting place is the core of the symbol, since it means, "Male and female resting in each other". This is the honeymoon period of the relationship. Some psychologists consider this phase to be a kind hormonal delusion and overidealisation. But inside the energy feeling is a sense of rightness, idealness, and ease which is indeed very natural. It is prior to all the conditioning and wounds that have been accumulated in time. It is both the ancient past and the utopian future of the genders in love.

This means that the female naturally supports the centeredness and purpose of the male and the male naturally supports the feeling flow and rootedness of the female. When a woman cycles through her emotions, when they are rooted in her earthiness, then they always lead her back into her dignity and strength. When a male stays within his purpose, then he can move through all the spaces that come up as resistance and can flow by them. When a male understands the emotional flow of the woman, then he sees that there is nothing that has to be fixed. The feelings naturally resolve themselves. The feeling nature needs to be grounded in the Earth, though, and a male sometimes goes into fix it mode when a woman has lost her root in the Earth. The support is to have her breathe into her body and go deeper into what she is feeling until she feels supported by life again. It is following that line down to where it touches the platform. A male in some sense does not need to go deeper, but just to stay on course and not bail out. As he stays on course, he will naturally get deeper.

This symbol is placed within a small heart mandala, a kind of circle plus. It would be south, towards the power chakra. It is meant to end all tension between male and female by each returning to their natures and by each relaxing into their natural supportiveness of each other. Inside the power chakra, male and female sometimes war with each other because they do not trust each other. They need to remember the beginning of their connection and to refeel the honeymoon period. The remembering and refeeling does not heal everything, but it activates the basis for healing. All healing is trying to return back to this space.

Because the honeymoon period is the natural energy of male and female supporting each other, it means that something artificial is jamming their energies if a problem exists between them. Dropping the artificial is the key to healing. Letting a memory be exposed where a wound was and letting the root get healed. It is always some decision about what life is that is coming from the past to be placed upon the present.

Love naturally brings up all our unhealed sides. Sexual love generates an energy which can fulfill one or all of the purposes of life. The four purposes of life are survival, healing, growth, and celebration. Reiki focuses on healing and on growth. Sexual energy, though, perhaps more than many other energies, is about male and female celebrating life and each other. A perfect movement does all four purposes simultaneously. Our survival is enhanced, we feel more healed, we are challenged to grow in many ways, into more and more love, and we find life more enjoyable. Healing is about restoring life to its original vision, which is simple celebration. We are meant to enjoy each day of life in its creative newness, feel the love manifesting as beauty and wonder, and feel the immense wisdom behind this vast mystery. When we are healed we returned to this. When we are fully healed, then we are enlightened about this.

The resting energy of Toh Noh Men is important because this where all the unhealed energy needs to be grounded in. If male and female cannot rest in each other and entrust themselves to each other, then there is no clear basis for healing. Then problems arise and resolution becomes difficult. When there is a rest state, then male and female can relax into the healing that wishes to happen. Female energy supports ungrounded male energy by rooting more deeply into the Earth and holding them until they calm down. Male energy supports ungrounded female energy by giving space for the female to have all her emotions and moods and by staying nonreactively centered when she shares them within her emotional intensities.

2. Teh Gah

The second symbol in the transmission is Teh Gah. It is Itanamic for "heart choosing wholeness". The word for enlightenment in Itanamic language is saganah. The root "gah" has the flavor of wholeness, integration, feeling internal unity, feeling an all inclusive oneness with life, feeling complete, and feeling fully understood. The root "nah" has the flavor of experiencing something, being aware of something, and of bringing something potentially existing or already existing into the place where it is noticed. The root "sah" has the flavor of wisdom, natural perception when no opinions get in the way, illumination, and choosing to see without obstruction. So Itanamic enlightenment has to do with feeling the oneness of life within wise illumination and direct perception.

I mention the above thoughts because Itanami is a very different kind of language to Earth languages. It is extremely nondualistic and has a poetic sense about it. The roots interact with each other to give multiple meanings which combine to create one overall feeling tone. The Tanran Reiki system has many words from this language because the words are like the symbols. They are rich in meanings which create an overall feeling tone about the symbol which is then used to connect with the actual energies within the omnipresent loving field (ahka).

The next phase of relationship is actually hidden within the first phase. In Toh Noh Men, the male and female energies are distinctive and rest in each other. In Teh Gah, male and female energies are mixing with each other and enhancing each other. In truth, this already started when the very first glances happened. This is symbolized by the infinity symbol, the horizontal eight that keeps looping in on itself. This means that male and female cocreate the relationship every step of the way. It is so deep that no one really starts it. Subtle energies are always emanating from male to female and female to male. When a possible relationship is emerging, the two energies start feeding each other. This is why Toh Noh Men affirms that male and female are naturally supportive of each other. In computer terms, the energies start handshaking with each other. There is a bidirectional quality to the interaction. One glance invites the other come more forward and the other glances back and invites the other forward. These transactions take place usually faster than the conscious minds of both participants. Sometimes some promise reaches a place where it can go no further and then it collapses. When males and females go to parties, they sometimes go through many microrelationships with many people through the eye glances and subtle energy exchanges. They can be so intense that people are tired when they come home, even though outwardly nothing much happened. Glances sometimes make people nervous because of this. Stares are considered impolite, because they deepen into a kind of relationship and may go too far. When glances are not met in a certain way, we are not meant to go further unilaterally, but instead to let go and move on. Sometimes a stare will be blank after some glancings stopped somewhere. A person can be stuck in a trauma that got activated by a microrelationship and need some time to recenter. Becoming energy aware on this level helps to understand what is and is not possible with people we meet. Vast amounts of subtle energy information can be processed. This is why a lot of psychics go to the woods in order to meditate. It is to tone down and reduce the amount of information coming from others and to make it more manageable. After a while, a psychic learns, more or less, to shield themselves, process faster, trust their intuition more clearly, and filter their experience to focus on the essentials and therefore become less overwhelmed. Most learn this relatively well but still not perfectly and occasionally do get overwhelmed in new kinds of situations.

The infinity symbol also means a kind of conscious circular breathing with the energy switching gracefully between inhale and exhale at the center. In Reiki understanding, the breathing is the mutual place in the relationship. The infinity symbol shows the exchange point between the right and left sides of itself. The right and left sides symbolize male and female. Unlike Toh Noh Men, the two sides of the symbol are the same. In Toh Noh Men, there is a feeling of male and female being different in a synergistic mutually respectful and mutually supportive way. Here the subtle energy exchange is seen to be the same. Each feeds on what the other gives them and returns the favor. It does not matter who starts it and either can end it in any moment by breaking the flow. It builds up slowly on a subtle level and sometimes fast on a temporal level when the conditions are right. A glance held for a few seconds can feel like an eternity because of this.

Breathing has a quality of being something we can do consciously or unconsciously. The act of spiritual breathing is to raise what is unconscious to consciousness so that the energy relationship can be felt, seen, and participated in. Teh Gah is about choosing wholeness when conflicts or rifts in the energy flow are experienced. In the wisdom of the Reiki Guides, they prefer that people focus on the energy level first, own whatever feelings and processes are happening there, and even process things on this level before trying to resolve what is happening with words. And even when words are used to keep words grounded in this level of interaction. We try to talk about our issues with our partner when we feel a rift on the energy level. This is why some people, both male and female, want to have sex when problems are felt. They hope the energetic feeling of communion can smooth over the tensions that are felt. Sometimes this actually works, because in the act of joining, a person must let go of their choice to be separate and therefore let themselves be healed by the sexual love which is shared. Sometimes, though, this only makes both people more aware of the energetic tension or how much both people or one person does not want to join.

In Teh Gah, the partners sit together and hold hands forming the infinity symbol between them (right hand holding right hand and left hand holding left hand) and then breathes. A circle or oval of light is visualized around the couple to invoke sacred space, form clear intention to harmonize and clear any disodent energies, and to let go of focusing on any distractions. The two smaller circles is each person consecrating the place where the energies are exchanged. It means that each person guides and then yields, gives then receives, and is sensitized to when this is natural. This is the opposite of holding control and shutting the other person out or hogging the conversation. Since the exchange place is a breathing place, a person should only speak in rhythm with the breath. Too long talking is like exhaling too long and too long listening is like inhaling too long. A rhythm needs to form. The Reiki Guides suggest letting go of talking entirely for both to feel the energies. You visualize a dot of light flowing between the hands. One loop is inhale for one person and the same loop is exhaling for the other, then when the dot crosses over the middle, then the first person exhales while the other person inhales. The dot is gently exchanged until the couple relaxes into giving and receiving and then receiving and giving. The quality of the exchange is strengthened and given rhythm. Only after it has been established can words then become useful. Talking before establishing this only leads to control battles where neither is listening and neither is conceding anything. In the beginning, when male and female rest in each other, the talk has this natural flow. When tensions appear, conditioning and thought comes up, and can derail the relationship. The groove which holds the relationship into a healing space is this infinity loop. Thoughts can then arise and dissolve into this energy loop.

In some psychological texts, the second phase of relationship is called "the power struggle". From the Reiki view, it is when the loving energy gets strong enough to bring up stuff, in both people, that needs to be healed. This is why the theme of consecration is repeated three times. One circle is around the couple and reminds the couple that loving partnerships require commitment and energy containment to hold. There is no such thing as casual sex in one sense. When something is casual, then the energy is lost and the interaction, although pleasurable, is not worthwhile. Container needs to be built and developed energetically in the second level. Once built, then the two focus on the energy interaction and keep the breathing flowing. The thought energy can then be noticed and dissolved by naming the thought and letting go of the thought until everything is cleared. The double circle means that both male and female need to be mindful of the interaction at the point of exchange and contain the energy there. This is the opposite of getting lost in a reaction and blowing the container wide open. When the container is gone, then the relationship does not feel safe and male and female cannot rest in each other. Both male and female need this safety, because the more the synergy unfolds, the more male and female feel each other inside each other, and the more even one hostile thought can throw the energy off balance. This means that each must commit to moving into, through, and beyond all anger, fear, and sadness. Holding on to even one emotion charged thought and protecting it stops the flow. If this happens for too long, then the romance disappears from the relationship and either the relationship ends or it becomes a kind of dull routine comfort which one person will eventually leave (sometimes at the time of death or generating an artificial crisis through having an affair).

The middle dot of the infinity symbol can also be seen as a seed which must be nourished by the loving breath and loving thoughts of each person. It is the seed hidden within the resting phase or honeymoon phase of the relationship. For all the beauty of the honeymoon phase, it is just a seed sprouting which may or may not fully mature and bloom. When the seed sprouts, the promise of the bloom is felt. The feeling of the eternality of pure love is met by the fragileness of the relationship as it explores its potential. Like a seed, it does require care and attention to feed it and help it to grow. Even when there are no biological children in a relationship, the relationship itself is a kind of child which needs care. The symbol means, "The energy becomes strong enough, within the sacred container and the sacred breathing, to heal everything within both partners, yet each must be mindful of the container and hold all energies in the process".

3. Neh Tah Ru

As the relationship feels its power to move through and heal the wounds and tensions which naturally arise, as they feel they are generating an energy that both can use to heal each other and the relationship, and as they keep resting in the energy that arises and allow it to grow, they move to the phase that may be called tantric sex. Neh Tah Ru is the symbol for what tanric sex means in Reiki. There is some meaning in this symbol being the third in the sequence, rather than the first. Before tantra can be enduring and meaningful, it needs the foundation provided by the other two symbols. In one sense, the tantric process started with love at first glance and steadily grew until both people wanted to sexually commune with each other. In some ways, tantra seems to symbolize a special kind of sex between two people. But part of Reiki is to illuminate and strengthen natural spiritual energies so that they are stabilized and developed within a predestined genetic unfoldment. It is predestined in that the energies naturally, like a seed, bloom into the flower that is within them. The flower is already within the seed. It is also, at every step, a matter of choice and can die easily if not cared for within a sustained mutual commitment.

Because of the orientation of Reiki, there are no special techniques given for sexual practice. Yet when attuned to the symbols, then the symbols focus and guide the process from within, to keep it naturally on track, so that the highest potential can be reached. Some methods are shared in workshops, but they have the goal of sensitizing the partners to the energies and to the energy ethic implied in them. To enter the Reiki path is to choose to be energy sensitive and to let oneself by guided by the loving Source. The three levels of Reiki are three basic relationships to the energy. You can merely be open to energy experiences, you can choose to be conscious when you invoke sacred space, and you can dedicate your moment to moment life to always living in the energy.

In the first and third symbol, there is no circle around the symbol built into the symbol. This is because there are natural laws at work in these and will work with everyone. The tantric principle is inherent in all relationships, just as all relationships start with some kind of honeymoon phase where they can rest in each other. Sometimes, because of strong karmas, the principle can be very hidden and the rest period very short, but everyone feels at least one night of each relaxing into the other.

In Neh Tah Ru, both the similarity between male and female and their differences are referenced. Like Teh Gah, the right and left circular energy are the symetrical. Like Toh Noh Men, the top and bottom symbols are different. The male solar energy flows downward and mxes with the uncoiling earth energy. The seed is stimulated and pulled upwards. This is symbolized by the line that connects the crown chakra energies with the root chakra energies. It is the transcendental wisdom energy mixing with the elemental earth energy. Biologically speaking, male energy feels the cool electric energy flow downward into their penis and the female feels the hot magnetic energy flow up from their vagina. The two circles, representing male and female, are partly merged and partly separate. The implication is that the energy rises to the degree that both merge with each other in loving union. Intimacy (into-me-see) is needed. More layers of each other need to be seen, exposed, not judged, and gently healed. When each merges lovingly with the other, more places are lovingly and nonjudgmentally touched. When releases happen, the energy gets stronger, more relaxed, and more blissful. It flows upwards to the crown. The middle of the symbol is where the heart chakras commune and allow the energy to raise upwards. Many energies are flowing everywhere. Some flow up and some flow down. The ones that the Reiki symbol focuses on is where the male falls into the Earth through the female, surrenders into her womb, and rests there and where the female lets herself feel the heat and uses it to rise above her limitations and into the solar crown chakra. Connecting heaven and earth as two coequal principles is behind the dance of male and female. It is the choosing to rejoin both principles into a unity that is behind Teh Gah. The naturalness of the male and female energies resting in each other in Teh Gah becomes the principle of relaxing into healing in Toh Noh Men. Becoming more vulnerable to each other, opening up more, offering wounds into the relationship energy, and containing the wound energy so that it does not act out or lash out on the other person, all this continues to mature the energy process in Neh Tah Ru. The meaning of the symbol is "The energy rises up to the crown to the degree male and female merge in loving synergy with each other".

4. Teh Mah Lah

This symbol, like Teh Gah, emphasizes what is the same, only more deeply. The spirals are actually opposites, each spirals in the opposite direction. One is clockwise and the other is counterclockwise. There is consecrated space as a circle around the male and female. This means that a sacred container is invoked. Commitment is required. The energy processing of phase two is revisited on a higher level. The couple has had deep sexual communion in phase three. They have moved from a commitment to explore together what is possible, to deeply merging with each other, and now they are functioning more and more as one organism. The place of unity is, again, the breathing. It is symbolized by the small oval circle between the two spirals. But unlike the infinity breathing symbol, there is no longer any alternation or give and take. It is a shared space that has grown out of the merging. The couple is breathing together as one body, heart, and mind. It comes from understanding that they are both the same and different. The image in any mirror is the same and different. In this recognition is a sense of complimentariness and mutual support where strengths are acknowledged and shared. There is also something dynamic in the spirals. They are pulsating. They uncoil out and recoil gently in. They have their own rhythm. Energy flows in when the lovers are alone and then merges when they are together. The breathing is also a rhythm that becomes the pulsating life of the consecrated organism called the relationship.

With the fourth phase, a couple cannot really evolve accidently. You can randomly find many people to have honeymoon experiences with, move through processes together and clear things with many kinds of lovers, and even have energetically powerful transformative sex with many people, but in order to reach the energy level of Temala, you have to intentionally commit and seal the relationship, sacrifice a sense of separation, and breathe together in a synergistic body. The divine seed hidden in Toh Noh Men, appearing as a dot in Teh Gah, fed and raised to the crown in Neh Tah Ru, becomes something large enough to include both the male and female in a larger organism. An energy conscience towards this organism is needed.

The meaning of Temala is "Allowing the opposites to meet in a sacred container so that you can let go of all attachment and float in the middle". It means recognizing the larger pattern that needs organic opposites to balance each other. For instance, male energy tends to feel individuality and justice very strongly, while female tends to feel connectedness and caring very strongly. Both individuality and connectedness are important. Connectedness without individuality becomes unhealthy enmeshment. Individuality without connectedness is unhealthy isolation. Caring without justice becomes enabling. Justice without caring becomes harsh. When tensions in a relationship are used as mirrors, then one is in the Temala level of process. When a balance between two equally valid principles is seen to be paradoxically necessary, rather than mutually exclusive, then tension itself can be used to discover deeper levels of balance and harmony.

5. Sakarah

Sakarah is an Itanamic word for a level of enlightenment higher than Saganah. When we are in Saganah, we feel the wholeness of truth and are illuminated inside. It is a level of enlightenment which happens in Zen very often and has the effect of learning to accept yourself and everyone else as you are and they are. Everything is seen to be unfolding perfectly including all our efforts to improve the situation into higher levels of order. The Sakarah level of enlightenment is where all opposites have met each other, balance each other, and have been transcended into a place where you directly see and feel their innate organic harmony and necessity for each other. From the viewpoint of Sakarah, whenever there is a tension, then one is accepting one part of an organic polarity while rejecting the other part. It is like trying to inhale and feeling that you never need to exhale or visa versa. Because everything is seen as part of a larger mutually balancing system, you feel like life is always supporting you and you feel a floating peaceful quality to your life.

The symbol starts with the point of heart awakening. The point is the very first time we understand the power of nonjudgment, drop a judgment, discover something which is obvious when we drop a judgment, and feel part of our life working again. When we do this, then our heart opens up, embraces everything without condemnation, and the energy spirals out and activates the power center issues that we hold, the areas we try to control to make our life work, and illuminates the power chakra so that we can let go of our attempt to control self and others. We learn to live and let live. In the seven chakra model, the heart is in the middle and therefore is the balance point where the higher and lower chakras come to peace with each other. Thus the power chakra and the creativity chakra, the third eye chakra and the security chakra, and the crown chakra and the root chakra have tensions between them until the heart sees their organic polarity and balances them.

In terms of European and Christian history, the polarities were set theologically against each other. The mother earth root chakra was considered inferior to the solar transcendental father crown chakra, rather than seeing how both "emptiness and form" were both needed to have a full feeling of life. Much of the tension between matriarchal and patriarchal cultures has to do with flip flopping between necessary polarities, rather than integrating the tension at a higher level. It is as if one polarity represses the other in an eternal war until we transcend the whole battlefield by seeing their equal necessity. Thus nature root chakra religions became pagan and lost the transcendental element and then the father transcendentalists persecuted the nature religions by accusing them of making earthly idols of the transcendental god. The transcendental religions generally make sex wrong and binding to the wheel of karma, became antibody, and then antifemale. The female body is linked with the moon and natural Earth cycles like the tides and the seasons. It comes to a point where some religions say that females cannot become enlightened, because they are too bound by nature to transcend it, and therefore must learn to reincarnate in a male body next lifetime. Although less known, reverse prejudices existed against males, because of their weaker ability to ground in mother nature, because they could not give birth to children, and because they could not as easily follow the cycles of nature since they felt them less directly in their bodies.

At the ending of the both the last matriarchal era and the last patriarchal era, male and female can perhaps at last appreciate their coequality and mutual necessity. This is signaled by the scientific mythology that the zygote is equally male sperm and female ovum. This view is more accurate and replaces the matriarchal view that sperm was merely a stimulus for the ovum, like fertilizer (hence the metaphor of the woman being made fertile), and also replaces the patriarchal view that the male had the seed and the women were merely to oven to bake the seed to maturity. The more accurate science is also more gender balanced and can allow a deeper appreciation of the true equality of these two eternal principles. There are actually many deeper meanings in how sperm and egg interact in the birth process that would be interesting to explore. It will happen as the science gets better understood first mentally and literally, verifying each individual truth, and then forming a complete view, and then finally feeling the meanings of all the verified energy dances that happen. For instance, it takes eight sperm simultaneously pressing the ovum to allow one to penetrate. Metaphorically it means that a female will be attractive enough to inspire eight males at the same time before she opens up to one of them and lets him in. Eight is symbolic of all types of male energy and means that a female has experienced all the different male energy patterns so that she can experientially decide which one is the most right for her. Metaphorically, too, it means that a male will be attracted to eight females sequentially and be let in by the one most attuned to him. These are not meant to be literal rules, but something that nonetheless communicates a meaning that puts the whole mating dance into perspective. In a sense, the eight males are helping each other and this can end any jealousy between them. It also means that a woman can be patient and wait for the eight males to rearrange around her. Each female who finds their ideal partner releases the other seven. This can end jealousy the other way around. My sense is that if this pattern is seen that there will be a mathematical fractal courtship dance at the heart of each society.

When the heart balances the six surrounding chakra energies, then an 8th chakra opens up above the crown chakra. It could be called the exalted heart chakra. It is a heart that has gone beyond every opposite and therefore does not caught in any struggle with anything, but instead finds the balancing point with everyone. The feeling that someone who has done this has is like being a sphere floating in a sea of energy.

Like the first and third phase, there is no containment circle. When all opposities are balanced, then no protective container is needed. You could say that the male and female partner love explodes into a love of everything and a relaxation into everything. The circle is like an egg shell, needed as an alchemical container, but no longer needed when nonduality hatches within it. The fastest way to reach Sakarah is to see that both something and its opposite are both true and then to float in the larger energy that includes both. The first phase, Toh Noh Men, foreshadows this higher resolution. Male and female resting in each other becomes each person resting and floating in all of life.

The Four Supportive Heart Symbols

The Relationship Healing Symbols, with the exception of Sakarah, are in the heart circle band of the Tanran Mandala. This means that when we are exploring a loving partnership that we need the support of the four regular heart symbols. They define our practice during our celibate periods of life. They are Tanran, Kokoroh, Dah Tah Bah, and Tee Yah Nah.

Tanran is transmuting love. It breathes in negativity and breathes out gratitude, appreciation, and compassion. It is between Neh Tah Ru and Temala. In Neh Tah Ru, Tanran breathing reverses our polarity with negativity so that we take it in and transmute it, rather than close down and defend against it. In a sense, it is a Chod rite activity, where we open up our heart to face every fear which comes up, take it in, and discover our heart is larger than the negativity we faced. In Temala, compassion invoked by embracing the pains of others forms a sacred space that allows us to embrace our partner in a committed way.

Kokoroh is about interdependance and seeing how we live in both dependance and oneness with everything that surrounds us. When we understand this, we learn to serve and be served within this interdependance. It breaks the illusion of isolated individuality and the belief in separation that sometimes offers false security for people. When we are separate from others, then we try to angrily dominate and annex those we feel we need, try to control them so that they always fulfill us, or we try to fearfully run away and live without risking relationship with others and growing from those challenges, or we try to manipulatively give to others, conform to what they want, in order to strategically get our own needs met in return. When we rest in interdependance, then we trust life and relax into giving and recieving.

Kokoroh is about organizing our relationships in terms of who is truly supportive of us and we them. It is about natural energy exhanges that are synergistic and naturally grow around us if we let them and honor them. It is between Toh Noh Men and Temala, because both of them emphasize interdependance and synergy. Toh Noh Men in a general way and Temala in a committed way.

Dah Tah Bah is the symbol of the Pure Eternal Life set and is about always radiating love from the heart no matter what is happening. The symbols of the Pure Eternal Life set are all about attitudes that work in any circumstance and therefore are eternally reliable foundations for our whole life and everything that could happen to us. The Itanamic root "dah" is about letting go and relaxing into the heart's natural attitude ("Tah"=heart). The Itanamic root "bah" has to do with centering and fully being oneself. The implied meaning is that we are not fully ourselves unless we are always radiating love unconditionally to others. It suggests that love is not an effort, but a relaxation into what we always want to do when we are not reacting from our wounds or defending our wounds.

Dah Tah Bah is between Toh Noh Men and Teh Gah. This is because we first learn to relax into the free flow of love during the honeymoon phase and then must learn to keep letting it radiate through all the tensions that arise in the relationship. Its position between these two suggests that the support of conscious breathing when tensions come helps us to stay loving with our partner.

Tee Yah Nah is from the Energy Maturity set. It is a holographic symbol with many internal parts. The third eye is open. This means that the radiant love of Dah Tah Bah becomes wise and skillful in the fourth set. While we need to keep our heart open and radiant always, it does not mean that we can afford to be stupid and undiscerning with negative people. We need to see clearly the negative trips that people play out and not get caught in them. The third eye opens out of necessity when we see that we must love all people always. The heart symbol inside the heart symbol shows that the third eye supports the heart. The circle plus in the belly region of the oval means that we need to be balanced and centered in our lower chakras. When we are balanced and centered in our lower chakras, then no one can hook us in. Manipulations and power plays must play on a weakness. Centering in our bellies allows us to protect ourselves. The two rings on either side of the heart center are protective. The heart can stay open without being hurt when we are centered and balanced in our lower chakras when we are "not led into temptation" and when our third eye sees things as they are and accepts them without rationalization.

With third eye open and lower chakras balanced, our free flowing heart feels its service to others and fulfills its purpose on Earth. In order for the third eye to fully open we need to see our part in choosing every painful experience we entered into and on this basis forgive everyone. What we learn from forgiving, becomes the basis of our service to others. The word "Tee Yah Nah" is the strong heart purpose to fully experience life (yah). It means to follow our joyful passion. When the runner in the movie "Chariots of Fire" says that when he runs in feels "god's pleasure" he is feeling Tee Yah Nah.

Tee Yah Nah is between Teh Gah and Neh Tah Ru because both require energy maturity to transmute what comes up. A male is not afraid of falling into the Earth when he sees the validity of the lower chakras and the need to center in each of them. When this is seen then every hurt can be used for growth. Becoming energy sensitive to the what others activate in us, with the idea of releasing our part in being triggered, opens the third eye and helps Teh Gah. As a triad it shows how we can embrace life through right forgiveness and find our purpose and passion. It may be tricky to conventional wisdom that forgiveness and purpose are related, but one who has not done their forgiveness homework and has not seen how they caused every event that happened to them, has trouble seeing their purpose or claiming the power to live it. When filled with unprocessed resentment, too many internal areas are blocked to see the larger pattern and know how we fit in it. When we experience the honeymoon of Toh Noh Men, then we sometimes feel more energy and passion to do our purpose. We suddenly feel inspired to do it. Many creative people find sexual love opens them to new insights that they carry into their creative service work. Every time we open up to life, even in the form of our beloved, it means at least temporarily forgiving part of life. Every blame is a reason to close down. When the third eye opens in Tee Yah Nah, the power to forgive at the very root opens up for us and with this enough penetrating insight to see our purpose and live it.

Tee Yah Nah is between Teh Gah and Neh Tah Ru for another reason. The third eye needs to open to forgive or transmute all the wounded energy which comes up. It needs to see through every illusion and projection to cut through to the root. When we do this, then we are surrendering to the awakening of kundalini in Neh Tah Ru. When we are celibate, we can do our forgiveness homework and totally learn from our previous relationship experience and thus prepare for the next one. When we are in a hurry to get to the next one without learning what we need to learn, then we show that we do not think that finding a mate is a matter of synchronicity, but a matter of luck. The third eye does not believe in luck, but in synchronicity. Even the hurts are converted to lessons we were synchronously meant to learn. There are no accidents. Our service and our passion come from kundalini rising. Kundalini is not some energy arising in some isolated individual, but a transpersonal energy that links us into the unity of life.

So when we are waiting for a relationship to come to us, we are meant to express the four heart symbols. We rest in the interdependancies that have already formed around us (kokoroh), then we learn to radiate love to all people all the time (databa), then we learn to look our part in all our hurt (teeyana), and then we breath and transmute all the negativity which surrounds without getting caught in it (tanran). If we are doing this and getting more skillful in remembering to stay centered in all those processes, then when we attract a relationship to ourselves we will be ready to handle what arises. In a sense, we are tested to see how well we can stay in love when we are opening up to more vulnerability and letting our subconscious mind purge itself of unfinished karmas. When we realize that life is compassionate and nothing happens by accident (kokoroh), then we eventually experience tonomen and rest in loving energy with someone. When things come up, we can center in continuing to love them (databa) and then transmute anything they activate in us (teeyana), and then we can help them transmute what they are going through (tanran). These parallel and support the relationship processes. We can practice them in daily life immediately. If we intend to use our daily life to prepare for our beloved, then lessons will immediately appear and we can work through them as they arise. When the heart is ready, the lover comes. When the heart is growing through each challenge, the lover grows too or eventually leaves. When the heart is mature and constant, it eventually attracts a mature and constant one who stays.

Namaste.

Willhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15340539277090876795noreply@blogger.com17tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7746332505981114795.post-57934972799500566032010-07-20T09:56:00.000-07:002010-08-20T11:22:48.195-07:00Contact Symbol
The above symbol is for remote Reiki attunements and invokes Tenabah.
